Love this. Beautiful imagery and message. It's difficult sometimes to appreciate your immediate surroundings and easy to imagine that life will just be better where the grass is "greener". But in that moment of realization that there is beauty where you are and around your friends and family I think I personally found more freedom to take pictures of what I love and appreciate my friends and family more than I had previously.
Only natural to be homesick from time to time. At the same time though, the experiences you make on the road will probably stick with you forever. Nothing is lost.
It's only when you travel far and be alone for a while that you realize how you need people around you and the community you spoke about. If you stay at home and don't travel, then you can't really learn it and appreciate it. Travel makes you wiser in all sorts of ways.
