I want to make all of these! So excited for the Dorito’s casserole. Your French Onion Beef casserole reminded me of a dish my mom made us. She called it ground beef stroganoff. The only difference is she didn’t use the soup mix or the French Fried Onion topper. I’m definitely going to think of her when I make your recipe. I don’t have her anymore, but I do have such wonderful memories to think about warmly. Thank you for sharing such good recipes. 🌽 Afterthought- she served her beef mixture over buttered noodles, it wasn’t a casserole. Forgot to mention that earlier! 💁🏻♀️
Dear, your Shepards casserole recipe recipe is fantastic!! Just a note, England has, in some American store’s, a packet of seasoning mix for the ground meat and a sauce called HP SAUCE. The seasoning packet is sold like a gravy mix or taco seasoning. The HP sauce is in a bottle like A1 sauce. Just in case your interested 💕🙏🙏
Hi Jen! I make a very similar dish to the French Onion casserole...I always make it a little different but the base is about the same. I call it my poor man's stroganoff & I do it all in 1 pot on the stove (minus the cheese & fried onions - I'll have to try that!) But it's definitely one of my go-to recipes! 🌽🌽🌽
🌽I've watched a bunch of your videos recently, my entire next week's menu is stolen straight from your archive. Can't wait to try the shepherd's pie and chicken spaghetti.
You have helped me learn how to cook ? My parents never taught me how to cook because they always told me I will burn myself on the stove? So I was always scared to cook.
The skin is very healthy to eat. If you don’t want it in your dish you can always season skins with salt and pepper and roast in the oven for a quick homemade potato skin chip. It’s a great and healthy snack
Hi, in the UK we call this Cottage Pie as it's made with beef mince. Shephards Pie is made with lamb mince. It's a winter staple over here, nice to see you including it too 👍
Jen, the scalloped potatoes at the end of the video….I often put cut up leftover ham in mine to make scalloped potatoes and ham, it makes a nice main dish for supper.
Doesn’t hurt my feelings to see a recipe twice! I love videos of tried and true recipes! But, I do love your seasonal decorating videos. You really have a knack for it. My favorite is when you decorate the built in hutch of your newer home. Also, Remember when y’all hung the faux pendulum lights in your previous kitchen? I loved that, and I DID THAT, ALL BY MYSELF. 🎉 🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽 Excited for the upcoming content!😊
I'm not the best cook but I've been watching your videos and I've been trying to cook something for my husband? He is hard to please? He all the time tells me you don't throw things together like that? 😞😭 What am I supposed to do then? I try to cook a yellow rice and chicken breast in a Pyrex pan spray it with pam spray and I put the yellow rice on the bottom of the pan and I cooked the chicken and put it on top of the yellow rice and put cream of mushroom soup on top and fried onions .I thought it was amazing but my husband said no this isn't how you do it
Prayers for you. My hubby was critical of my cooking when we first married. I was doing a good job too. A few times after he was so critical I made a meal that I knew he didn’t like. My go to angry meal was canned ravioli 😂. I served that meal with a sweet smile on my face too. He quickly shut up with the negativity and started thanking me for my meals ( even if I messed up a few times). Lesson learned. We’ve been married 27 years and he loves everything that I cook. No more ravioli meals either. I taught my son to appreciate any meal that your future wife cooks for you even if she messes up and to cook for her as well. Good luck mam and don’t give up
I'm late watching. These dishes look scrumptious!!!! Can't wait to try the Dorito casserole and the Shepard's Pie!!!! Thanks, Jen for making dishes that are simple!!! ❤❤
love your channel ❣ plan on trying that chicken spaghetti - sounds simple enough for us. we have shepard's pie in our rotation - always the night after i make creamed corn. instesd of using flour and broth, i add the left over creamed corn with a bit of milk to make the "gravy" then top with the potato. hubs loves the sweetness it adds to the dish! thanks for posting all our great recipes
Wow, you just keep hitting it out of the park!! 🎉❤
