Nice one mate that's a hike up to that quarts looked at it so many times it's a great place for panning and so relaxing away from the rat race... respect to you
very nice. i would love to go gold panning . but..im to heavy handed. watching you put the collected gold onto your pan at the end. im thinking nope i would spill of drop the pan. so ill just enjoy watching your videos instead. super. smashing.great. video.
Good video matey ever what to meet up and hunt northern pennines rivers panning and get the box's in the river would love to meet up if you fancy it one day.
No worries heading up that way next week are the week after so I will let you know how it go's mite upload my frist video who's knows will see nice getting bk to me thanks Jay
Great opening drone scenes, looked like a tough hike too. Scotland is really beautiful. Could I just enquire what metal detector you use? the coil looks really suited to rough ground and ruts. Thanks for sharing, looking forward to your next upload.
As far as I'm aware, there has never been a placer mine in the uk . We have had hard rock mines in wales. Scotlands' first hard rock gold mine was opened a few years back, but I know believe has gone into administration .
Where can I go in Scotland to pan that is good and legal? I’m from N California and enjoy prospecting. I saw Holiday Park Tyndrum but not sure how good it is. Looking for nice ground to snipe. Not picked over areas either. Any thoughts?
Leadhills/menock pass is possible the best place to start its further south, and you can keep the gold you find legally if you purchase a license from the leadhills museum 👍
U not try putting ur pan under the water next where ur working just put a stone in the classifier and it won't float away. Will make it much easier to pump into the pan with less risk of loss 👍⚒️🏴
Yeh, good tip. The bedrock was sloping and not flat where i was working ,so I opted for having the pan and classifyer out water on the flat and to try and tilt the pump end upwards, to minimise losses but yeh it would be easier mate 👍
you should never go alone tbh ,there are creatures out there youve never seen or even heard of but they are there and they are extremely dangerous ,you are walking in dogman country right there unknown to most people there are cryptid creatures that live in the uk we even have a breeding population of wild big cats..you and the rest of the population might take the piss redicule me whatever but i have had an interaction with a creature in the woods when i was 12 and have spent 45 years researching these beings all im trying to say is be safe and just be aware the very best of luck with your hunt for gold great video btw
Spent at least 4 months in the wild last year in Scotland and iv never heard so much crap in all my life - Some people are scared of ther own shadow, more often than not these days so even more reason to grab a pan and use your freedom well...

It's the quest x10 probably not the best at finding the smaller gold, but it's lightweight and durable, and thanks for watching 👍
Awesome! What are the regulations like in Scotland? Are there any full-scale placer mines there?
No mechanical equipment to be used public license for some notes river system's think there is one licences hard rock mine in tyndrum
