Imo Activision should work more on mediatek devices, dont have One but my old phone actually got lower settings game imo really got better but should fix those stuff who actually hurt the most
I have ipad m2 and i can agree it's overheating even in lobby but didn't face any performance issues in game and i found a solution for heating on my device, lets the shaders stream for 2 min in lobby which cause heat, so i let the game opened but turn off my device and letting it cooldown after that I played for 2hr and device heat normally in game , which was not major, i play on mid graphics and face no fps drop , ya sometimes there is drops but its chances are very low
And heating was also not major after cooling down device, ya when i first opened the game there was heat but temperature drops automatically even in game, it doesn't mean my device was in ice , there was only little heat
I just got a 10th gen iPad and so far the performance is very good and consistent. Additionally, there has been no heating issues even after playing for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The reason why activision is struggling because of losing tencent. After trump passed a law or putting a ban on tencent in USA. Activision had no choice but to part ways with tencent. Sadly they had to use their pc game engines and hence leading to poor optimization. If trump wouldnt have done this thing right wzm couldve been develped by timi studios and we wouldve been able to play wzm on low and mid end devices with amazing graphics , with overall great optimization. Its sad they had to cut off tencent because of trump . Now its upon them either they will shut wzm down or succeed in optimizing it for low n mid end devices, god knowa what will happen.

The truth is infinity ward is that greedy they wanted to keep all the money for themselves so they used their own shitty, unoptimized engine instead of trying out something like unity. The shader streaming issue was a thing in mw2 and wz 2.0 but apparently for some stupid reason they thought things would change if they just ported mw2 to mobile phones.
