The reason I bought this was cause I work in construction. I find a huge difference when I have something cool and wet around my neck to keep the blood flowing cool to my head from my Carotid artery in the neck. Seriously helps in the heat.

I agree. I keep one wet and in my ice chest when kayaking and alternate them out now and then.

I worked in construction it was just get my hat wet or bandana, problem solved cheap air conditioning.
And I worked with Mexicans doing work that white people wouldn't do except me.

I just picked one up from my local REI as a way to protect myself from the sun when fishing cause now matter how much I sunscreen I will always get burned right under my sunglasses so hopefully this will keep the sun off me. After trying some of the styles on the back of the packaging I can already tell it’s gonna be super comfy

Many people are wearing these as an alternative to wearing uncomfortable mask that is required in many places because the virus. I hate wearing most medical face mask that only fog my glasses and I can’t breathe. Are these breathable? Especially in a humid 105 + degree factory . If I’m forced to wear a mask I want something comfortable.

    • @faspete2nd

I think they are breathable, but some people don't think so. I've never had a problem with foggy glasses.

Some guys are wearing them at work. They just pull them just up over their nose and mouth when they have to work within 6ft if someone or have to go in the office but the keep it down on their neck when they're by themselves

This type of headwear is not a mask replacement. The masks work by blocking respiratory droplets which carry viruses. The virus can always get through but if the respiratory droplets can't, then you've effectively minimized if not prevented spreading the virus. If you can feel your breath through it and especially if you can blow out a candle then it's more or less like wearing nothing. People who use these instead of masks simply don't care about trying to prevent covid spread. If your one of those idiots then at least double if not triple layer it so it's more effective.

Can you wear this with your glasses on, or is it too snug to comfortably wear glasses?

    • @faspete2nd

I work in hot steamy conditions that get to well over 120f in the summer. Would this help keep me cool? Sun isn’t an issue at all. I work around fermenters.

No you really don't need one, try a hat and bandana it's a whole lot cheaper. I suspect slick marketing and branding hype. I just looked at them at REI not for that price.
in the winter whatever happened to the ski mask things I used to wear as a kid had holes for eyes and mouth?
    I'll pass on them, whatever?
