The reason I bought this was cause I work in construction. I find a huge difference when I have something cool and wet around my neck to keep the blood flowing cool to my head from my Carotid artery in the neck. Seriously helps in the heat.
I agree. I keep one wet and in my ice chest when kayaking and alternate them out now and then.
I worked in construction it was just get my hat wet or bandana, problem solved cheap air conditioning.
And I worked with Mexicans doing work that white people wouldn't do except me.
Finally someone taught me how to wear this . Appreciate that sir
You are welcome. Happy it helped.
Nice video! I have one of these and I use it a lot when I go on extended fishing trips.
They are essential whenever doing anything outside.
Time to get buff, was that cheesy
YES
Peter, you over-buffed with that second camo buff on your head. That was sooooo xxxxttttrrrraaaa.
I know, but it worked. 😀
Indeed a must have gear
Absolutely.
Thanks mate. That was a great review, much appreciated.
You are welcome! Thanks for the view and comment.
I got a cheap one for £2 before covid, best purchase I ever made
Nice!
I just picked one up from my local REI as a way to protect myself from the sun when fishing cause now matter how much I sunscreen I will always get burned right under my sunglasses so hopefully this will keep the sun off me. After trying some of the styles on the back of the packaging I can already tell it’s gonna be super comfy
I burst into flames whenever I go outside. I absolutely need to have one on or I burn.
Love the drunk pirate😂, great vid btw
Thanks. You get mixed up when you look a the LCD on the camera and try figure out what direction you are moving.
Great job!
Thanks!
I work in hot steamy conditions that get to well over 120f in the summer. Would this help keep me cool? Sun isn’t an issue at all. I work around fermenters.
Sorry to say, but nothing will keep you cool in 120 heat.
Peter Fasciano very true.
Can you wear this with your glasses on, or is it too snug to comfortably wear glasses?
I am sure everyone is different with how comfortable "snug" is, but I have never had a problem wearing glasses with the headwear.
Many people are wearing these as an alternative to wearing uncomfortable mask that is required in many places because the virus. I hate wearing most medical face mask that only fog my glasses and I can’t breathe. Are these breathable? Especially in a humid 105 + degree factory . If I’m forced to wear a mask I want something comfortable.
I think they are breathable, but some people don't think so. I've never had a problem with foggy glasses.

Some guys are wearing them at work. They just pull them just up over their nose and mouth when they have to work within 6ft if someone or have to go in the office but the keep it down on their neck when they're by themselves
This type of headwear is not a mask replacement. The masks work by blocking respiratory droplets which carry viruses. The virus can always get through but if the respiratory droplets can't, then you've effectively minimized if not prevented spreading the virus. If you can feel your breath through it and especially if you can blow out a candle then it's more or less like wearing nothing. People who use these instead of masks simply don't care about trying to prevent covid spread. If your one of those idiots then at least double if not triple layer it so it's more effective.
Nice music!
Glad you like it!
Bahaha 10 o'clock in the afternoon....your to funny!
I forgot my hat and it was already pushing 100 in phoenix AZ.
Does it cause your glasses to fog?
No. I have not had that problem. That's not to say it will not fog up glasses. I just have not had a problem with it fogging up mine.
Hey Peter... really liked the look of that boonie hat!
Who makes it, where might we find 'em?
I got it 6 years ago in Martha's Vineyard at The Black Dog Tavern Company. I don't think they carry them anymore. www.theblackdog.com/
@@faspete2nd Bummer for me. Thanks for replying!
Its too hard to breathe through the balaclava.
I understand that everyone is different, but I have never had a problem with it in "balaclava mode".
@@faspete2nd I have asthma
i got one because it is corona season
Stay safe.
@@faspete2nd Thanks for the tips i fish and hate getting water in my face so i will be using the balaclava and hood ways to wear it
Peter is allowes right👍🏻🎊🎉

What do you guys use when you are outside and want to protect yourself from the sun? Leave a comment and let me know.
A hat also are you gonna do vlogs?
@@longboardlarson4017 I think I'll do vlogs real soon. As soon as school is out I think I'll have to give it a shot.
@@faspete2nd nice!
i dont go outside
Keffiyeh in the summer and winter.... Can't beat it
this man predicted covid
Funny, but not true. Although the video did blow up after covid.
No you really don't need one, try a hat and bandana it's a whole lot cheaper. I suspect slick marketing and branding hype. I just looked at them at REI not for that price.
in the winter whatever happened to the ski mask things I used to wear as a kid had holes for eyes and mouth?
I'll pass on them, whatever?
I built a cabin in the mountains with nothing more then a hat and a bandana. Nothing wrong with that combination.
dude I just bought 9 for 10 dollars (they come in a pack) and that's cheap.
