This is the best Dracula movie that deserves sequels. It was suppose to b the start of the Dark Universe franchise, but The Mummy 2017 destroyed that and only with The Invisible Man 2020 gave it a good ending. Still should have sequels anyway and just call it separate from the Dark Universe. Turning into a swarm of bats was awesome. My uncle visited Dracula's Castle, the real one, and said this movie got some rl history in it of Vlad wanting to protect his people from the Turks. In Dracula.wikia says of a list of theories of more powers vampires in Untold possible have. The speed of a falling star is 160,000 mh, that's running 4 times around the earth with a little bit more to complete the hour (I did the math). The theories r like generating bats from the hands, dominion over the night like the master said will give the gravity powers from the moon, and divination from the stars. Check it out.

I think if they do a sequel, bring the power scale of the antagonist right back up. Vamp vs vamp, divinely blessed holy super priest, whatever. Closest live action hellsing we have.

I would LOVE to see a part 2 of this movie! Charles Dance as the Master Vampire was incredible! I loved the way he portrayed that character, making him somewhat beastly sometimes, and vengeful at other times. I would really like to see how his revenge plays out in the end.

If I remember correctly Bram Stoker didn't base his fictional Dracula after Vlad Tepes. He was already writing a vampire story when he came across the name Dracula in his research. It was only after Stoker's novel became public domain that his Count Dracula became connected to Vlad the impaled. Fun Fact Dracula means Son of the dragon or devil.

It was one of my favorite Dracula movies. It should have been longer to give more depth to characters and their emotions and motivations. Like why his friend was so evil to him, a couple of clips of Vlad getting accolades and he not during their time together while he slowly gets more and more jealous, would have gone a long way into explaining that relationship. It was beautifully shot though I wish it had more light in it, I had dark movies just for the sake of being dark. You can shoot a dark scene where I can still see what's going on, it's just a matter of hiring the right people. The story line was better than most and this one showed how human Vald was in his motivations.

This is my favorite Dracula movie only thing I would have done differently is I would have turned my wife into vampire instead of letting her die well and I would have drank human blood immediately under those circumstances I hated the turks and their obsession with little boys awkward

Tho the movie was a lil bit directionless at times but I liked the movie. I was hoping for a sequel. One that would streamline the story better. Dracula/vampires have always been my favorite. Not the new age monster mouth ones. The old school vamps.

Fun fact for vampire lovers:Jure Grando Alilović or Giure Grando (1579-1656) was a villager from the region of Istria (in modern-day Croatia) who may have been the first real person described as a vampire in historical record.

I love this film! It was awesome seeing Caligula in modern times, at the end. "Let the games begin." 🧛🏻‍♂️ I really wish they made a sequel, because there's so much more story to be told. I wonder if Shkelgim ever began going by the name "Igor". 🤔 I can't be the only one who caught on to the fact that he said Igor's famous line, "yes, master", in a creepy voice, then scurried away, hunched over, after Dracula slammed his back against the tree.

The only things I didn't like about this movie,
    1. The finale where they had the super closeup of Vlad *whipping back and forth screaming endlessly* during his fight with the Sultan.
    2. How the vampire troops Dracula sired, *openly rebelled against his will* in mere moments of being turned and having feed on hundreds of thousands of Ottoman Turks, which should have calmed them down to the point they knew better than to turn against Vlad.
    3. How and I don't care what anyone says, they didn't make a sequel of this as part of the Dark Universe reboot because Tom Cruise ruined the Mummy Reboot by trying to be a fucking jackass.
    4. The *historically ridicioulous plot hole,* of the Ottoman Turks *violently pushing a *Vassal Kingdom that was already loyal to them* into war so they could just put it in their empire.

The best part about this movie is that they pretty much turned Dracula into an almost Super Hero. He sacrificed his humanity to defend his family and his people. It's was really well done. Too bad they won't follow up with this.

I really like your content but I have to correct your pronunciation of the word "corps". It has a French origin, it means "body" or many of the words that can stand in for it figuratively. As such, you do not pronounce the "p" or the "s" at the end unless there is a vowel after it, but "corpse" is a different word with a different meaning.
TLDR: corps is pronounced "cor" like core, and not like "corpse" which is a dead body.

Vlad was the inspiration person for Bram Stoker 4 Dracula yes.... Though the real historical Vlad was nothing more than a psychopath ending up killing more of his own people then "famously" osman soldiers. A pretty sadistic guy torturing his own people(and animals) and therefore even seen worse then the osmanians.
He was thrown a couple of times by the Hungarians into jail as they saw him as straight crazy ( and he was )and a danger to all of em.
Ended up completely nuts still impaling small animals.
The only reason the Hungarians didn't got rid of him was that he was aristocratic otherwise he would been get rid off pretty fast.
So completely the opposite of the "Myth" and a good example of how real history can be stretched and "manipulated"...
In short he was a not very glorious nut job.
