We need the Camera Hack 2!!!, I Volunteer as tribute to compose any music you need for the film Im serious. I love your channel, and it will be my honor to help with anything that is needed it XD
Brilliant! Brings back so many memories from The Camera Hack. I remember how awesome that project was and all the good BTS. A film School just watching it. The scene you shot looks great. THe Wireless Intercom would be amazing to use. Love how little stuff you brought to the shoot and still got the results you did 🙂
@ I’ve seen in a lot of videos that for ambient moonlight people use strong lamps and the only explanation I have is to put it waaaay far away from the location to get softer direct light, and not lose a lot of light in the way to the set but in some cases I’ve seen it’s just an overkill! Thx for answer 🙏🏻
Show, don’t tell. There is too much exposition in your script, which A) doesn’t trust viewers, and B) is boring and stupid: presumably, the agent in the scene already knows who he is looking for. Does he really need a recap from VO? No. Avoid exposition.
Another line that sticks out like a sore thumb (there are more) is “Do you know what brand of camera it is?”. Well. He’s in a wasteland, looking for a camera. In that setting, any camera at all would not likely be disregarded for brand name, yes? “Oh, here’s a Sony”. (VO) “That’s not the right one. Keep looking, stupid”. “Ok. I think I see… yes, it’s a Fuji…” (VO) “Wrong again, numbnuts. Keep looking”. 😂
I wil largue they did that becuase most vewsers might not have seen the camera hack so theexposition is needed for them to understand the complex story and world, and as it is just a short "teaser" I think it worked great, remember- they shot it in only a few hours. But I generally agree with you on that in short films.
This scene is both connected to the full first movie and the one that we are aiming at making. So when you have seen the first movie, and you get to know the character more in the next one, you will understand the dialogue and why he is saying this stuff ;) That’s also why I mentioned in the BTS that we made a scene that our long term subscribers (most likely have seen The Camera Hack 1) would be excited about.

are you shooting raw what are the video settings? codec etc
Rip Eskild!
What's the difference between using 1200x light with 2% and using 300w light on 40-50, to get the same result, does it give you any difference?
We could have just used a 300W lamp instead yes :)

Can you state that "No cameras were hurt in the production of this video?" 🤔
This is just immoral and unethical… 🙈

The script is still a work in progress, but thanks for reminding us.
