Pile 2: Only a couple of minutes in, but I’m really resonating with the message of the effort I put into improving my life growing and bearing fruit. One year ago today, I had no friends or close relationships. I worked hard to put myself out there and make connections. I was vulnerable and strong and failed over and over again. For years. Pile 2. Very accurate. For the last 6 years I have been taking care of my ill cat (he had diabetes and needed insulin every 12h) so I couldn't go anywhere. He died on December the 3rd when he was 17 years old. I'm having a really bad time. There are many people that don't understand that I'm suffering. I would have normally been doing everything to please my family but now I'm like, fuck It, I'm going to be the villain anyway so I'm going to do what's best for me that, right now, is keeping the distance. I'll go to have dinner with them for Christmas of course but I'm not staying the night.
There is also a person that didn't value me. I was always there for him for 2 years and a half and now that I needed him he wasn't there. The worst part is that when I told him that I expected more from him he turned it around and told me that he had been having a bad time too and that if he needs space he just takes it. A week later no signs. If it comes back again, he will have all the space he needs and more, he won't find me.
