Al Gore | Progress and promise: the 2023 update on climate solutions | Frontiers Forum Live 2023

In his keynote address at Frontiers Forum Live 2023, former Vice President and Nobel Laureate, Al Gore, emphasized that we have the solutions to the global climate challenge in our hands, drawing on examples from around the world. He spoke on need for open science, collaboration, accountability and transparency in reaching our climate goals and achieving effective decarbonization efforts across the global economy.
Al Gore is an environmental, business and tech visionary, recognized as one of the world’s leading activists, and hailed by TIME magazine as “a businessman who is out to change the world.”
He founded and is currently chair of ‘The Climate Reality Project’ - a nonprofit devoted to solving the climate crisis. He also co-founded Climate TRACE, which provides independent tracking of greenhouse gas emissions, as well as Generation Investment Management which has played a pioneering role in the development of sustainable and environmental, social and governance investing.
