Despite the field owner's baseless accusations, I'll be addressing and dismantling his lies with proof. As a result of his verbal onslaught, I'll be giving my full opinion on his field, here and now.

I used to work at this field and the owner is exactly like you said. Just trying to fill the field and not manage the structure of it or fluidity with sight lines. He’s quite the wildcard and will use the refs to help whichever team is down to mix up the game. Great to see your videos again and going to black ops airsoft is surreal. Totally agree that there were several things from the video that could have been better from a site pov. Your working title of "Worst Airsoft Experice Ever" (I think i quoted that correctly), would rile up any owner that cares about their site. Hard to get a catchy title that explains it was personal stuff not the site though. That said, I would hope that the owner contacts you and apologises for his rant (which out of context does make sense) and uses your recommendations as areas of improvement, I think that everyone lucky enough to go there would benefit greatly.
As a Marshall myself, I totally get that you cannot see everything and you certainly cannot stop cheating but (I know your vid is majorly compressed) your vid does not lead me to beleive that the Marshals were treating you as a cheater. The basis for most of the accusations appear to be unfounded. Good for you for being the better person.

@Dutch The "plywood house" structure at 03:18 looks a lot like the plywood room clearing practice structures the Military throws up outside of what we call "shoothouses". The shoothouses are large buildings made of a specially designed concrete that is designed to fragment and turn to powder when a live round hits them, thus absorbing the impact and minimizing the chance of ricochets. These little plywood practice structures, also known as "dry-fire villages" or "dry-fire houses" are instrumental in training room clearing techniques, as you can run everyone through in a small open aired structure that is easily replaced or repaired if damaged, and is easier to get into and out of than the full-on shoothouse. This allows us to also be able to better see what our trainees are doing as we're teaching them what room clearing is all about. We run the slow drills and the dry fire drills out here, and then we go to the actual shoothouse to run a few more dry drills, some blanks drills, and then the final live-fire session(s). The ol' crawl-walk-run method of training. :-)
That is what those things look like to me.

As a ref that worked there for years and played for longer I can say it wasn’t like this a long time ago. Some of your statements now is true about the telephone game between refs and owner, and how it feels more like a haunted house. For outside knowledge he use to make badass haunted houses. The players are extremely nice, I guess you can say it is the Midwest hospitality, but talking about trade kills the field has gone through numerous different rules about trades, and now it is just confusing and I do the same things. Sadly I have seen the peak of the field and I’m worried that it won’t ever be back to where it was a few years ago, with out the terrible trenches and buildings that made since and had flow in them (doors or windows on every wall and maybe only one turn in the building).

Being from WI I think our best field is action sports WI. Everyone is an absolute pleasure to be around and the field is so fun and creative. There's a wooded outer field that is usually only used for big events with multiple sections and there's two urban fields. Both urban fields are combined for large normal games and the staff do a wonderful job setting field boundaries based on player counts to make the games more organic and fun. The owner and refs are all really knowledgeable about the game and the equipment. There's constant and high quality mil-sim events, swap/sale events, and there's a shop for supplies, guns, and there's even an HPA tank refill station. Every visit makes me want to go back even more and for anyone else in WI I cannot recommend Action Sports Wisconsin more.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience, personally, I had this last Sunday when I played outside for the first time and my RIF wasn't feeding. Unfortunately, I had some poorly machined BBs which wasn't feeding and it really upset my day. Hopefully moving forward your luck will improve and you will be able to produce the amazing content you normally do.
On the subject of flow in airsoft, I believe a lot of sights have to stagnate places on a field such as the buildings that make no sense or only have exits on one side of the building. I think this personally (my own opinion) either comes down to a site owner who doesn't play airsoft themselves or a site owner who doesn't listen to the players of the field. The locals of a field should speak up and mention when they think something needs to be changed, I do it at my local and the owner does get annoyed with me about it sometimes but when or if he does make the change everyone is happier and the flow becomes easier and creates less fatal funnels or dead ends.
One last thing and that's the trade rule (how I play it), I personally 99% of the time will take the trade even if the opponent's bbs is a ricochet. Its good sportsmanship and makes a more friendly playing atmosphere. The only times I do not take a trade and this has only happened a handful of times is when the opponent basically sprays into a room with no care or accuracy and I was able to double tap them in the chest/leg/arm / etc before one of there bbs hit me. In that situation, if the player becomes hostile or abusive I will just take it and go back to spawn as it's not worth ruining your own day over that one situation.

Its not the first time hes posted ramblings on facebook about some drama and it certainly won't be the last, and it sucks you have to deal with the fall out. The refs here are generally great, and the airdrop mechanic gets used to when one team is getting stomped in an objective game. I do agree with the overall size of the whole field being a problem, but on openplays where they just use the "main" portion and for events where there are commanders etc its generally not a problem. Absolutely f*** that white building (its called hospital). Its such a pain in the ass and I think the only reason they don't get rid of it is because its so big. We all make mistakes but what we do with it, seperate us from those who do and those who don't thrive and deserve the respect. Keep it up: Stay cool, stay you 💪🏽👍🏽

Would love to see some more vlog like videos about the airsoft tour. We get a quick tease of the tour via the map etc but part of the fun is the journey sometimes feels like we're missing huge chunks of the story - would love to see more about your trip, the people you met and stuff you got up to off the field on top of the always quality gameplay 👍

You are correct, this field "looks" like it has a lot of potential. The makes no sense buildings are holding it up. I think they were more about building a rat maze than an abandoned village or something. When you said in your video "Where would you go"? I said to the next field. The owner should listen to your advice instead of protecting his big bowl of pride. Your right. If we had an extra hour and a skill saw you could have cut out those doors to at least make it playable. If they fix those buildings they wouldn't need to "airdrop" anyone. If you have no clear path forward you're only trading ammo.

Hey, I'm the guy at 9:05. I just wanted to thank you because I had a stock A&K ACR with contact triggers lol. Trying to clear with that thing is a not a fun experience. I would have been screwed over if you didn't clear it...
Sadly my mosfet died on my Cyma XM that day, I usually get pretty dirty with suicide rushes. The buildings give me heart attacks, so I try to quickly advance around and collapse from behind instead.
I believe you took a picture with my friend and I at the end of the day, and you were really great even though you were having a lot of trouble with the camera equipment. I truly appreciate how you helped make another memory for us.
    About the videos:
I personally don't take sides in drama disputes of relative strangers. Will tries to do what is best for the field overall. His personality can come off as abrasive, but I truly think he means well for his field. He goes above and beyond for his players, even offering lifetime membership cards that reduce admission to 20$ a day, or bulk game cards that give you 5 games for the price of 3. He even offered a reward for stolen guns on his field. He puts a lot of passion into that field, and it shows in how hard he defends it. Sometimes, it is definitely too extreme and not the cleanliest way to address things. Although, I believe his heart is in making this airsoft field into his vision. If one's dream is alive, I believe one should do everything in their power to keep it that way.
This seems to be a misfortunate understanding between an older, blue-collar owner dedicated to his dream and a UA-camr trying his best to appeal to the algorithm/demographic. We all know that oil and water doesn't mix, but I hope that some sort of emulsifier can bring you back to BoA one day. It was really fun playing with you, even if I didn't see you all the time.

I've met and played with Dutch at Camp Pendleton. So I can speak say he has integrity. I think sometimes people might accuse Dutch because he actually plays the game with intensity and is good at it, and combined with a gun that can shoot straighter, farther, and has faster trigger response than most, it might seem like he has an unfair advantage. Sure, a better gun helps, but it's all about the player's abilty, honesty, and experience. Dutch has all 3.

Your issues were equipment related. That's not his fault. Equipment issues can lead to having a terrible experience at a field. This isn't the owners problem but him taking it that way is a bad look. Like "hey man, sorry you had equipment failures, that's never fun.
