- Sorry for the delay on this review, I know a few of you were waiting for me to review my Gucci Soho Disco bag. I hope you enjoy! Please let me know if you have any questions. I didn't address any wear and tear as mine is still fairly new. If it's still available down the line I can do a wear and tear video for sure. I just wanted to make sure to give my thought on the bag in general for now!

Love the red color Amanda , I just purchased this soho disco bag in Dark Cipira, I hear a lot about the zipper but I hope this beautiful bag holds up to Gucci standards.
My zipper is exactly the same! I called my Gucci store and they said to bring it back and they'd make it smoother - but it meant leaving the bag with them, and I still haven't returned! Yes, you can live with it, but at the price point, you'd expect a zipper that is not so 'grindy' when used. I still love the bag - it is so versatile - day or night and even travel! I used it on my trip last month and on the plane I kept it in the pocket of the seat in front of me for easy access! I used it for shopping (hands free) and then out to dinner as well.
I know, I hope you get it back soon! Yes, it is such a cute bag, very usefully, just wish the zipper was a little better! XOXO
Yes....you are so right about zipping it......that happened to me getting out of an Uber.....my stuff went everywhere on the ground in the street.....major panic....fortunately was able to grab it all but scared the crap outta me! But I LOVE this bag......I too have the red. 😍
I had a similar problem with my Alma bb zipper and I rubbed it with waxed paper and the zip function smoothed significantly!

I love mine I have two, one in black and in red. Also I talked to a sales associate at Nordstrom and he said that the core colors should stick around like black but the red is seasonal. Also my friend heard from Gucci itself that the core colors are staying.

Great review! I purchased this bag in black! Like you...I rotate my bags often. I feel when you use a bag repeatedly without swapping it out here and there you are destined to get wear and tear far quicker. I have lower end bags that I have had for years and they still look good. It's all in how you care for you things...especially products that you spent a lot of money on. Love your videos!

I bought that bag a few weeks ago in black snake leather (the lining is black too) and I love it! Haven't had the same problem as you whit the bag turning around but I agree with you, it's not the same LV quality in the zipper. Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Sweden!

Great review, I own the Gucci Soho Disco chain mini, the stiff is not isolate your bag alone. Sometimes I feel I may damage the zipper because of the amount force I have to use. For the price it needs to be more smoother.

I've had this bag for three months now. I'm wondering if you know anything about caring for it? Leather cleaner and/or conditioner? Would love to keep the leather looking great! Thanks!
kennyshell7 I clean mine with water wipes and that seems to work great. With that said mine is still fairly new so I haven't seen any true wear and tear yet. Since I rotate my bags so often, they don't show wear for a while. I highly recommend water wipes, that's what I use to clean all my bags! I have a video up on them!

Rachel Joy I haven't had any issues yet but I also haven't had mine long enough to see that wear yet. I'd be glad to do a one year wear and tear. I'm hoping I don't have that issue but I just don't know yet.

Would you still recommend this bag? I am debating buying it. I really want it and I feel like it would fit my style well but I wanna make sure it's a good option.
If you are looking to add a gucci bag, I do think this is a good one, since the price point is on the lower end. My favorite crossbody bags are the Favorite MM and Pochette Metis(so far)! XOXO
