It seems someone was extremely large and/or rough on the driver's seat of this car. My family's 2010 Outback has almost 90,000 miles on it. The seats look new. BTW, it's been rock solid.
I'm planning to buy one that ran around 100k ..Do you think it would be fine after running that many miles? What issues we usually come across with Subaru's at this mileage?
Ugh I just hate all the new subarus. They've become so god damn big and ugly and the interiors are mega cheap compared to how they used to be. Not to mention they're slow as hell and use nasty drowny CVT's now and the styling has just become bland if you ask me.
I am looking for a car for an older relative. She wants either a Lexus 2004 2005 2006 years... or an Outback 2011 or 2014. She doesn't care about resell value as will keep it a while, enough to warrant the cost paid for used.... Questions if anyone knows : PZEV environmental cert, do all Outbacks have them? How can I tell the cargo space , that includes or not.. the seats being folded down? thanks, no trolling please!
please just stick to being a senior editor and not a reviewer with a camera. because whatever you're looking at you keep getting it either off to the side or get your mits in the way or have something in the way.
Does extensive review on a base model subaru. Complains about interior quality, forgets that they're budget cars that last forever..
I just hit 350k on my 2011 have done nothing no timing belt nothing just brakes incredible

I'm not a huge fan of this generation Outback, I prefer the ones before. They're nice cars for those who want them.
To be honest, I liked the 2004-2008 models a lot better, I also miss the 3.0H6.

Subaru was never known for excellent interior quality, they were just okay.

the Front end styling reminds me of several Infiniti's....not to mention the Dashboard which has a faint resemblence to the Second Gen FX.

Yes, they sell them on ebay, they come pre-installed on new interior frames. I just bought one for our 11 Outback, modernized the car immensely.

Wow my car has soft cloth (not woven) and I'm 5'10"and almost 200Ibs and my seat doesn't even look like that and my car has 111k on it.
The only Subaru i really like is the new Legacy.
