Great video dude. I will also add that Uncanny XMen was rushed ahead of another Stern pin that was delayed so it is not nearly finished with its code, music, lcd screen etc. They are rushing to get the game done and Jack Danger is under a ton of pressure to meet some unexpected deadlines. Still, when it hit 1.0 code and beyond, this game is going to kick ACE. This is common with many stern games. They need time to mature. Hands down, JJP always makes a prettier game. Nevertheless, I'm putting my money where my mouth is and cant wait for my Xmen LE.
Thanks for the comment and the compliment! I wasn't aware about the deadlines but that definitely helps to add context to everything and makes sense. I think you were smart to get the LE of Uncanny X-Men, such a beautiful and unique machine and I hope as the code develops it ends up being one of the best modern Sterns. Have a great day!
Have you been able to play X-Men as well? I have heard so many different things about each machine and how each machine plays, i'm curious if you have been able to play both. Thanks for the comment and have a good day!
If I were to say I am "jealous", that would be putting it lightly! I have the Shadow at my local bar and it's such a good machine, I had a chance to own a modded one but it was just too expensive! I regret not getting it though! And X-Men seems great as well, especially the LE! Thanks for the comment and have a great day!
I would love to get Avatar, even though I only saw the first movie once up until last week when I decided to watch both films after getting excited for the pinball machine, and I literally have several boxes full of X-Men comics, toys, DVDs and other merch so I'm definitely more into X-Men than Avatar, but boy, that machine contains the world of Pandora under glass and I would love to travel there and lose myself in the beauty rather than live through the apocalyptic hell of Days of Future Past.
I could not agree more, Jersey Jack really knocked it out of the park with Avatar, so much to the point where it makes me want to watch the movies again and get more into the series, just like you. From all of the footage I've seen so far, I think it's really living up to the hype. If you get one let me know how it plays!
You're totally right, I should've clarified more about price. I know the LE's are roughly the same price on each but there is about a 7k difference between Avatar CE and X-Men Pro. Thanks for the comment and have a great day!
My fear on xmen is we have some incredibly shitty "animation" that some stern games do. People say "it's still early," and that's true, but we've seen these wiggly pics in software before that never ever get changed. I'm pretty nervous about the presentation sucking.
I definitely agree, I am not a fan of the animation style whatsoever and personally I don't think they'll make it a priority to change the animation unless it effects sales. I personally am not a big fan of the way LCD screens look in modern pinball machines, I much prefer DMDs, but I may be in the minority. Thanks for the comment and have a great day!
You lost me at art. I’ve never seen a table as aesthetically arresting as Avatar in my life. It’s got nuanced color palettes in every quadrant whereas UXM has all primary colors a’poppin everywhere & comic frames on the playfield. Chaotic. Not criticizing your taste, just find Avatar a fine work of art & UXM looks like the walls of the defunct Empty Bottle club. 🤔🤷♂️ Keep the pin content comin, brutha! ✌️👍
Thank you for the comment! I totally see where you're coming from, I think JJP Avatar is such a beautiful pin and it's neck and neck with X-Men in terms of art. Some days I feel like Avatar is better, others I think X-Men is better, however you may have changed my mind on the art after those good points you made! Thanks again for the comment and kind words, have a great day.
@@PinheadPinball Oh, I just love that you welcome pinball chatter regardless of tastes-it’s just awesome to hear everyone’s stokage & takes! I LOVE JP Yeti! I have AIQ & had a Zilla next to it. I love those poppin colors. To me, VENOM has my favorite art package & I know I’m in a small minority there. 😅🤷♂️ Here’s to your channel’s growth! 🍻 🤟✌️ *Insta-sub!
Thank you so much for the kind words and subscription! I am jealous you own an AIQ and had a Godzilla, both are great. There is a Venom Pro at my local bar and I love the art package but unfortunately, I feel like the gameplay on the pro is kind of lacking. What do you think about the gameplay? Personally, I own an Earthshaker and a Rescue 911, both of which I got for really cheap and learned to fix up. For some reason, the machines from the late 80s to late 90s speak to me the most in terms of art and gameplay!
I do think that X-Men, a series that includes Wolverine and Deadpool, both of which were the main characters of a movie that just grossed 1.32 billion globally, is currently more relevant than Avatar. When the last Avatar film was released in 2022, it was definitely more relevant than X-Men at the time, but that was 2 years ago. Thanks for the comment and have a great day!

15k, damn, these were 10k just a few years ago. Prices are out of control...
oh yeah, I agree 100%, that's why I only buy used, older pinball machines, and even they are still $2k-$4k!
Welcome to the fold, my man. Ignore the scrotes and have fun. Subbed.
Thank you so much for the sub, made my day! Have a great rest of your day!
I played avatar today on location, it’s a stunning machine , but X-men has more mechs , I would consider a X-men
Have you been able to play X-Men as well? I have heard so many different things about each machine and how each machine plays, i'm curious if you have been able to play both. Thanks for the comment and have a good day!
@@PinheadPinball hi , no not yet but I am very excited to see it and to play it
Haha I have #242 LE xmen and the shadow 😂

Both machines are great. JJP Avatar is 13k - 15k while X-men is 7k to 9500. That’s significantly more expensive.
Huh? Avatar is $12K or $15K and Stern's X-Men is up to $13K (with no topper included as on Avatar).

LCD is short for liquid crystal display so every time you say "LCD display" it hurts my brain!
I had no clue, rookie mistake! Thanks for letting me know and for the comment, have a great day!
The danger room is not unique at all, that same exact thing was done on a game named Gold Wings over 30 years ago
That's awesome, I was unaware of that! Thanks for letting me know and have a great day!
You honestly think cartoon x-men is more relevant then avatar?
Joking?
