I am using PS cs6 , the problem i am facing is on vertical type tool. when i am using vertical type tool , the text typed is vertical but the letters are not straight as in ur video, that is for eg- when a word is typed horizontally first and then if rotated into vertical view, can you please help me on this

Nice tutorial. Since this is all about sharing experiences, I wanted to tell you (although you may probably now this already), that you can make the new layer appear below the working layer, if you hold the Alt key, while clicking on the New Layer button. Once again, thank you for this tutorial.
I tried it on Affinity photo and man it took 4days trying, couldn't find what you suggested like clipping mask so I changed blend mode to lighten, it worked..
I like the tutorial,its very effective,Thankyou.I got stuck though,at the point where we select alt back space to erase everything inside the selection.It just ain't working on my device,is there another way to do it?
If you were to move top image to get more rainbow colors in the text would that screw everything up? Does this only work bc the images are transposed? Thank you! This video helped me understand difference btn Layer & Clipping Mask. Hard to visualize what each is doing and limitations to my layers.

dude deleting the layer mask literally brought in everything we deleted with the eraser... It looked like a hot mess. It turned out to be an issue with Photoshop. I restarted the program and reapplied the last step and it worked.
Have a small dout .. Did quality of text will be differe while doing scale (crt+T) & doing scale in text option...!!.. Which is method hav a quality !??
how would you do two lines of text instead of one? I can't set it to one layer of text because the next line is always to the left instead of the right and I want the two words to be closer together than pressing enter would have them
