Yesssss!!! Classic Team 17 games I’m so glad to see these get a cartridge.
Having proper Amiga games on the Evercade just made me buy an E EXP. I look forward to loads more classic amiga releases, and proper versions of Bitmap collection that is Amiga based. I look forward to Gremlin cart and my wife is dying for James Pond collection! Can't wait for more Amiga classics.
Hope for an Amstrad cart as well!

As an Amiga fan this is a good start. Will be interesting to see Body Blows Galactic and Walker as well as Worms.
@@AM-ss9he My dad and me used to play it together when we lived in our old house. The game requires the joystick and the mouse so I would take one and he would take the other. 😊

It's a shame that Superfrog is missing (one of the best platformers on the Amiga) - maybe one for Team17 Volume 2? That said - there are some bloody good games on there so that looks like it'll be an essential purchase :)
They will need to remove the Lucozade branding though
@@gamingcrazy7013 That's a very good point - they had to do that when the PC Remake of it came out a couple of years back.
@@superspudgun Someone who mans the Evercade Discord said to me Superfrog is currently impossible because a few years ago someone claimed owner ship of the IP as copyright infringement. To clarify this company came up with the idea for the game first.
That's why the remake was pulled from stores.
@@pferreira1983 That's very interesting. I'd not realised that it had been delisted back in 2016 - three years after the HD remake was released. They didn't just delist the remake, but the original PC port too. I'd say it's more likely Trademark issues than Copyright (you can't copyright an idea) but I do get what you are saying.

Looking good! One thing I will add, double check ATR: All Terrain Racing as the built-in version on Amiga Mini is choppy on the frame rate yet the original on a real A500 is smooth as silk. Also if you run the standalone WHDload version of ATR on Amiga Mini the game crashes... And please don't forget that ALL European Amiga games should run at 50Hz!!!!

No Alien Breed 3D? What a missed opportunity! The Alien Breed franchise would deserve its dedicated cartridge with all the various versions and iterations of this franchise.
Got several of the games on the A500 mini but I guess it would be cool to have on the Evercade handheld.

"There’s also our first collection of Amiga games from a yet to be announced publisher" doesn't yield many single publisher large library options and Psygnosis seems as unlikely as a lottery win due to them being owned by Sony since 199x. Team 17; who else?!? 😉
Team 17's blue cartridge will be up there with the best cartridges on the Evercades, in which we haven't had a bad collection out of the 40 unveiled cartridges so far. Loving the variety. Keep up the awesome work! 🤘😎

It would have been nice to have Alien Breed 3D. Can’t believe Evercade still doesn’t have a proper FPS game. Also some 32 bit 2D games would be nice.
It's definitely legendary, but where's Superfrog? In collection 2, perhaps.

With firmware update it should work on original Evercade.

Was the Amiga not popular in the States? That surprises me when you see how popular the C64 was before it.
@@iestyndavies7287 The Amiga wasn’t even available in the states. The C64 was, but it wasn’t very popular. We had the NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, and the Super Nintendo instead. We didn’t really have British home computers in our market. If you wanted to play them, you had to special order them from the UK. I’m a big gamer, and I’ve never seen a c64 or an Amiga in person.
@@cajunotaku3256 I do find it ironic that the Amiga wasn't big in the US considering it was an American computer. You can thank Medhi Ali for that. 😆

I was hoping Alien Breed 3-D would be included. If you already have an Amiga 500 Mini, this cartridge is almost incidental.
I have the A500 Mini and the Cloanto Amiga emulator on PC, but might still get this to have Team 17 classics in a handheld format.
P.s. The Body Blows music sounds as good and fresh now as it did back in the day... back before Team17 even settled on their current studio name.

However I think this is missing Alien Breed 3D. Why not include that so all the Alien Breed games are together?

I have bought 3 consoles and over 12 carts and I would rate Evercade good but on probation. Please come out with better games.

System update 3.0.7 notes says this was patched. Now running with 3.0.9 and it still does not save. When can we play this cartridge properly?
Worms?
Worms and Worms Armageddon are available for Evercade on Worms Collection 1. Plus rumour has it there might be a way to play the Amiga version of Worms: Director's Cut on Evercade VS, too...? You didn't hear it from us, though.
Will this run on the original model without update? I don’t want to update my firmware.
The official website indicates update is mandatory to run this new emulation system. If you don’t want to update try getting the game after Checking if others had any issue with the update and realizing nothing happened
It a great collection but seriously where is superfrog really gutted it's not on here
A basic research will tell you the game changed owner. Besides, always expect a second cartridge from evercade with more goodness

A lot of these games were already included on the A500 Mini. So I will pass on this one. But I'm totally looking forward to more Amiga cartridges! Keep up the good work!
True but you cannot pop the Mini in your pocket :)
Besides any Amiga cart they release will have games that can be played on the Mini so not sure i get why that would make a difference ?
@@synchro62 In my experience the input lag on A500 Mini is more noticable than on your average Evercade game and even with tweaking not all games are running well on A500 Mini. So it could be that Amiga games on Evercade are slightly more responsive and/or overall better emulated... and of course portable. 🙂
