Ginza-Dori street
Ginza is home to two historic department stores - Mitsukoshi, founded in 1673, and Matsuya, founded in 1869
gourmet delights of Michelin-starred restaurants (including sushi and ramen
on Sunday each week, Chuo Dōri - the main thoroughfare through Ginza - becomes ‘Pedestrian Paradise’. The road is blocked to all traffic, and tables and chairs are placed in the middle of the street.
