You could probably still go a little smaller for spacers, only need a few mm clearance. 17z calipers are different, found on older cayenne and touaregs. I plan on getting macan calipers soon for my alltrack also.
Thanks for the clarification! I just happened to have the spacers that the guy sold to me along with the calipers and other stuff, but with this aggressive of wheels it’s still hard to have spacers because they sat flush with the cladding without any spacers
@@BrendonWagner That worked out luckily ha. Yeah I have +35 offset on my alltrack with 8.5 wide wheels and they're almost flush, but I'm running a slight stretch with 225/40 tires
Nice! I just switched a few months ago to R brakes on my alltrack. Was tempted to go with the Porsche brakes. Get GTI roof parts and spray paint the headliner black.
I’m thinking about haha, don’t really want to put too much more money into this car for now, but a headliner swap is definitely on the list for the future
From what I’ve seen online, they will, but you’d have to either run aggressive spacers on stock wheels or find a set that is BBK friendly (lower offset without a concave face). The rotors are from a MK6 Golf R which came on 18” wheels from the factory.
are the macan calipers 4pots? any reason why you chose the macan brakes instead of stock MK7R or TT-S calipers? do you know if the other calipers are just as big as these macan brakes?
Yes, they are 4 pots. I believe they are slightly better than the MK7r brakes and I was able to get my calipers with spacers, rotors, pads, lines and wheel bolts for around $50 more than what Golf R calipers were selling for around me, so I decided to buy the Macan ones. Also having Porsche on them is cool too haha
Hey Brendon. Great find on the Macan calipers. I noticed you have a 2" hitch installed. Did you make a video of the install? I'm interested in the cutout you have to allow it to fit the lower bumper and valance. I have the 2" hitch as well and I haven't trimmed enough. So my lower valance is at an angle. Cheers!
I really wish I did, but unfortunately I don’t have a video on it. I can record and upload a quick clip though with how I trimmed by valance, mine also was sagging due to improper trimming but I ended up buying a dremmel and fixing it. I’ll try and upload something this weekend for you!
@@BrendonWagner Pics or vid would be great. Yours looks more square (i.e. level) and a closer look at the details would help greatly! Thanks for the reply! Mine: 2019 Alltrack SEL 6M
@@chrisa2693 Sorry fro the delay, but I'm uploading a quick video now to show how I trimmed my valence to fit the hitch. I hope it helps and let me know if you have any more questions!

Tiguan wheels are sickk 😎
Thanks!
Daft question but do these fit on 18s?

What suspension setup do you have?
Bilstein B4 with Golf R springs and Audi TT rear spring pads

Cool project! Looking into upgrading the brakes on my Polo WRC to Porsche ones as well.
Quite some work to figure it all out eh. haha
Thank you! That sounds like an amazing plan

Get a golf R if you wanna gap the tesla plaids.
Hahaha, I don’t think any Golf R will gap one of those unless it’s a build daza swap
Actually you'd be surprised
The rs3 is way crazier though cannonball record holder 👍
Just stage 2 tune on a golf r and send it or go aftermarket turbo and dyno tune it real world vs paid advertisement pulls are much different
