His on-screen, and off-screen by all accounts, friendship with Larry is my favourite. No more pain, rest in peace. Prince. You made me laugh out loud a thousand times x
Richard Lewis - i remember waiting up till 12:30 in the morning to watch you on Letterman. You never disappointed. Then on Curb. So delighted to be able to watch your talent again. So sad that you left the world too soon. ❤
He is so cute, “you’re going to bury this episode!!” I loved him, sad he had a rough time the last few years with surgeries, etc. RIP dear Richard, you made me smile. 💔
I saw him in concert in the 80's or so. We had good seats, close to the stage. When he walked out, my girl friend remarked on how good-looking he was. For some reason that surprised me, don't know why.
I doubt he appreciated the way Richard was SEATED for this interview. (Frank as interviewer with more prominent seating) Every time I've gone OUT to eat with an attractive women? She SEATS us just as Frank and Richard are seated. With HER back to the wall - MY back to the crowd.
Lewis was a little oversensitive to the interviewers comment which I did not take the way he did. "Please do," is not yelling at someone. Guy has a job to do and just trying to keep the interview moving so the audience does not click off which is what I am doing right after posting this comment. And, I like Lewis, but he overacted here, IMO.
Never cared for the guy until Curb. Would wonder why Letterman had him as a guest because to me he was so manic and unfunny. Now love his back and forth dealings with Larry David.
RIP Richard Lewis ... you were a beautiful and very real guy. 🙏

MR.RICHARD LEWIS ONE OF THE GOATS OF COMEDY , I LOVE THAT NEUROTIC JEWISH HUMOR !!!
Thank you for a great interview - Richard was so open and honest
Frank Buckley is the best, KTLA is lucky to have a man like that to grace the studios with.
Frank's good people.
I finally figured it out! After all these years I always thought he resembled someone famous. Eddie Money! He does look a little like Eddie Money. 🤗
Yes because Richard Lewis is not famous
@@someone7554 yes he is. Comedian.....you can see that. You just want an argument.
@@renekackline2377 Not really, just thought that "Richard Lewis resembles someone famous" sounded funny
@@someone7554 He DOES resemble someone.....Eddie Money. The singer who died last year.

Funny guy

💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
He's got the Moe Howard eye-bags thing going on. Moe was a lifelong insomniac.
I always found him funny but I understand his humor is not for everyone.
True. He is nor for everyone. I think he's a riot.
He will be missed... by those who didn't know him. 😄
This was not Ricardo Luis.... Caralho
What? No mug available?
Did Richard specifically request a styrofoam cup?
Is he son of the other Buckley guy from 70s?
I doubt he appreciated the way Richard was SEATED for this interview.

She SEATS us just as Frank and Richard are seated.

I don't need this. I've got an Emmy.

Same. He seemed like a poor Woody Allen impersonator. He’s actually very good.
Larry David is brilliant!!! Probably my favorite comic writer/comedian ever. Hell, he created Seinfeld!
BAGZ
richard needs to eat some protein and carbs and lift some weights, and put on some real weight. He looks frail.
Great interview!
RIP
