Aldnoah Zero was the first time I instantly recognized Sawano on first few seconds of listening to the shows OP/ED and score by the end of episode 1 I was convinced it was his handywork. This is also one of the songs I regularly revisit on occasion. Absolutely a banger. Also jeez 10 years since that show time certainly flies.
Mizuki has been my favorite Sawano lady since the first time I saw and heard her (the [nzk]005 in Shanghai I think). The combination of her unique looks, fashion, poise and stage mannerisms and of course that piercing voice blew my away. Of course Sawano Hiroyuki's excellent and very fitting music made her voice shine and created a world of expression for her to inhabit. Really cool to see the music video!
This song is still a banger, even after all these years. This anime's OP/ED and soundtrack were fantastic. Really improved the emotional experience of the show.
It's been 10 years after Aldnoah Zero., but if not for the anime I might not known Sawano Hiroyuki sensei and his music. I know there are others that Sawano was involved with before Aldnoah, but got all that the bees and butterflies feeling you will surely hit it you in each scene. Like everytime Keeps on Keeping was played as Inaho's climatic victory music. The ED song A/Z makes you realize what kind of people the characters of Alnoah are. Altho there are people who don't like the 2nd season but for me I like it. Its just incomplete.
Sawano's music and Mizuki's voice are BALMS FOR MY SOUL, they always make me shiver, I could listen to Sawano's music every day of my life and I'd never get tired of it.
Peak sawano I still remember watching aldnoah for the first time maybe 3 years ago? It wasn’t the best writing especially during the 2nd half but the score certainly made the show a lot better. Realising the composer was the same as 86 and many others was great because it brought me to watch every single work sawano was involved in, which I’m still doing. Anyway this piece is close to my heart, almost the same as chikyu wo firestar, aliez (also MK version) or alc-@, and I’ll continue listening to sawano until I die.
I remember when i was in university then i start to watch Aldnoah Zero in the bus, it was love at first sight with this song, even i edited the ending in Sony vegas only to get this song till the full version was not released yet Cheers to Sawano and Mizuki, i'm really happy to see that has been 10 years, and awaiting a concert in Brazil
