- Piano Hub Artist Young Stunna had no choice but to serve the people his first album after a video of his song went viral. Throwing down the track during one of her sets, Uncle Waffles had the crowd lapping up Stunna's bomb track Adiwele.
In this video, Sandile Msimango, popularly known as, Young Stunna, talks in detail about his upbringing and musical inspirations.
He shares how he was always surrounded by music. His mom was a vocalist and his 'timer' (dad) owned a tavern that had a jukebox.
Spending time at the tavern on weekends exposed him to all types of genres, including RnB and Kwaito. Stunna fell in love with how Kwaito artists told their stories.
"There was just something so raw and real behind their struggle." he shared with DJ Keyez
Apart from his parents, his uncle who was a writer listened to Hip Hop, Kwaito/Boom Bap, and a lot of Tupac.
Not one for sports, Young Stunna spent most of his breaks at school sitting in class writing lyrics. He admitted to even writing lyrics during lessons, not that this affected his grades.
"Nah sports just wasn't my thing. I wasn't interested in any sports."
He attended Benoni West Primary and Lee Rand High School in Benoni. Finishing his matric at Unity Secondary School in Daveyton. His love for music only grew when he moved to Daveyton because of its big music culture.

@@tsholofelosharonmbele4318 dawg let's be honest we discovered this bro through jaivane's mixes
Jaivane did this guy dirty. A lot of talent under his label but he wants the spotlight to himself.
@@tokam780 what did he do?
@@tokam780 true, but Young Stunna should’ve mentioned Amu Classic or Kappie at least
My husband!😩❤❤
Yoo my bae
This ntwana is dope🙌.what does adiwele mean?
From the people it's about his journey of exposure. From dlovu being jaivane to msholozi being Kabza to malume being maphorisa. I might be wrong but that's what I heard. I stand to be corrected
Ja you're right. The "ngibangena nge Ndlovu" line is a double entendre. 1. It's a flip on the phrase "indlovu iyangena" which means to force your way in and
2. As you pointed out, Jaivane is Ndlovu so he might be saying that Jaivane afforded him the opportunity to be at a place where he could be noticed by Kabza aka Msholozi
But generally, Adiwele means to crossover or fall over. It's usually used in the context of groove to denote that the festivities should fall over into the next day i.e. for the people to party non-stop until the next day. In the context of this song, it means "let it fall into place." During the build up to the Adiwele chant, Young Stunna makes a series of prononcements and proclamations about what it is that he wants to do within the music industry and how he's going to go about doing it. He then emphatically declares "so Adiwele" as an affirmation that may these things indeed happen. Therefore, in the context of the song, "Adiwele" means "Let it be," "Let it happen" or "Let it fall into place"...
What’s his name again
