- The ‘68 Coronet rooftop gave up a good fight, but I eventually won…
The rooftop structure will go onto a 69 Charger.
Welcome to “Heavens Mopars“. Here I ‘journal’ and record the progress of the many different Mopar and housing projects.
A place for out of love of Mopar (Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth) that I do my best to save the classics.
I fix them and sell some of them to fund my car hobby and restore the projects that I want to keep. Some projects are for sale or trade.
Join me along the journey for the progression of my different projects…Such as:
‘70 Challenger, ‘70 Duster (trading), ‘70 L-600 (sold) , ‘70 L-700, ‘65 Dart GT, 2-‘68 Coronets (one is pending other is for sale) ‘69 Coronet, ‘70 Dart Swinger, ‘63 Chrysler Newport wagon(sale?), ‘62 Plymouth Valiant, ‘79 Dodge D-150(sold), ‘69 Dart, ‘73 D100 (for sale- traded for ’69’ Charger) , ‘72, ‘73 ‘Cudas, ‘70 Satelitte/Superbird project.
Who knows, you may learn how to do a thing or two (DIY) along the way, be inspired as I learn myself, or if anything, just be entertained. 😃

Wow, I'm enjoying the project I'm praying for you too would love to see that at the No Name Nationals this year😊
Thanks buddy! I appreciate you backing and supporting me with the prayers. 😃
My goal today is to get the torsion bar cross brace installed so that I can weld the floorpan back in it…
I took the floor out, to replace it…
Then I can work on the rooftop!
Thanks for your support! 👍
That’s a great idea with the goal sheet, little bites to get closer to the big end goal
Thanks. I have to commit my goals to paper to keep me on track. Otherwise we get to careless and think we have more time… the baby steps keep the goals obtainable and speed up the process. For me at least. 🤔👍
The Harbor Freight spot weld cutters are way too brittle. Save time and money, buy the Blair brand. They are more expensive up front, but last a long long time. Summit Racing carries them in different diameters.
Thankyou for the suggestion!
I had no idea!
I will definitely look into them!
By the way, I’m your 1st subscriber! 😃👊🏻
I've taken the roof off many a mopar in my day currently have a rust free 73 charger roof panel waiting in the wings to repair my 71 chargers roof...
Nice! Can’t wait to see it get some love! 😃👍
Heavensmopars could you show the AMD A pillars from the previous video more in depth? And share the part numbers for them?
Hello Roger. Sure, I can do that for you. Maybe I will make a short video just about them explaining how they go together and the part numbers, etc. Maybe I can do that for you tomorrow. Just give me a few days to edit and post the video. 👍🤔😃

@@heavensmopars thank you.
Those little spot weld cutter work great..but those darn teeth break far too easily
That they do! I just bought 3 of them at Harbor Freight thinking that should be enough to take out the floor. One hole busted EVERY TOOTH off of it… but then again. I used one whole bit dismantling this rooftop in this video. Win some, loose some… 🤔🤷🏼♂️

My kid is really hairy too.
😂I’m trying to convince him to shave and that the ladies like it, but he just won’t… 🤔🤷🏼♂️
