Banshee!, if you like Antony Starr as Homelander, you'll enjoy him in this too. Awesome show.
He is totally different than homelander in Banshee, if anyone didnt see Homelander before Lukas Hood, we almost couldnt see him as a homelander.
He was awesome in Banshee. Which is one of the most underrated shows ever made in my opinion.

Reacher is number 1 for me. Especially season 1, the Jack Ryan next. What a good written shows
The book was even better, I read it in like 2009 at 13, also discovered Vince Flynn's American assassin and the odd Thomas books back then, all of which became great movies and films.
If you liked Jack Ryan check out the show Condor, it's really good.
Warrior currently on HBO max by director of Banshee is a true action series
The Last Kingdom and the film that closed the series out, is one of my favorites. Along with the original Daredevil S1 and Punisher series.

I agree about Daredevil and The Punisher. If you put the 2 together you get 6 seasons of some awesome action.
The viking series on amazon is class. Better than valhalla for me.

Taboo is one of the best TV shows I've seen. Hardy has never been better......a must see.
This is a good list. I would have included Showtimes Penny Dreadful.
I'm not saying Penny Dreadful isn't good but it's not on the same level of action as these shows are.

Jack Ryan was a hard pass for me. Hard to stop picturing the male lead outside of The Office. Couldn't take him seriously as a tough guy. Wrong build, wrong character.

I like reacher alot the lead does a great job
I like the series as well. But the description provided here in the video is not the Amazon show, season 1 nor season 2. Did AI just pull a summary from the 2012 movie with Tom Cruise or the book One Shot which the series has not used yet. Killing floor (S1) and bad luck and trouble (S2).
Very good list but there are a bunch missing or that should replace some shows on here like Strike Back, Spartacus, Warrior and Daredevil/ The Punisher both shows together makes up 6 seasons of one awesome action packed show replacing Taboo, Hunters, Vikings : Valhalla and The Blacklist. I have Banshee at # 1 it very well could be my favorite show of all time or atleast 1B behind GOT. Obviously this is just my opinion we all have our favorites whether they are on best list or not.
Just because something has some action in it, doesn't make it an action series, Taboo ia prime example. Someone going into that expecting sword fights and explosions is in for a shock (even though it does have them)

Best action series for me in 2023 was SAS Rogue Heroes (BBC, Amazon, Paramount+):
SAS: Rogue Heroes charts the creation of the famed Special Forces unit.

Vikings and Vikings Valhalla are both so filled with historical inaccuracy and revisionism that it should be a crime to call any of it historical. It's rather fantasy.

Blacksails, warrior, generation kill, Marco polo, taboo its been a long time waiting, barry, goliath and many great cancelled shows making way for pretty little liars or vampire diaries

Season 1 was enjoyable - though clichéd and a little predicable. Season 2 is a downgrade.

Sherlock is definitely my favorite. But there are other great criminal thrillers such as mind hunter, Dexter, severance, narcos, breaking bad(all time great to me), Ozark. It's hard to put up a ranking on them, but I will for sure. Appreciate your support. ❤️

While "Vikings:Valhalla" was good, the series on Netflix called "The Last Kingdom" is so much better (IMBD 8.5 rating). I've gotten so many people addicted to that show.

I wouldn't include any television series in a list like this. Network TV is too lame to lay claim to "Best" series. You have to realize who is in these shows as well, and if you support who they are as human beings, never mind actors.

Where is the original Vikings and The last kingdom
Hunters was ok , season 1 was very good, season 2 just seemed so rushed too fast paced and so obvious when some was going to die, they done like double looks at each other before dying, 2) Vikings Vahalla was very good , both two season's too, 3) The Terminal was good, a lot of actors could of played that Chris Pratt role, 4) Blacklist was very good for 6 7 seasons, then got bland for a few season's with Lizzie that i found very boring and made me SIGH, but was good overall, 5) That actor in Jack Ryan, just no, i can't, 6) Reacher was very very Tidy and good, not great but good, 7) That Taboo was great , really hope season 2 gets eventually made soon! 8) BANSHEE IS MY Joint TOP TV SHOW EVER With Spartacus Blood and Sand 10/10 both for me, 10) didn't bother with 24, find keith a bit basic and bland, zzz imho, 11) Ponit of Intrest was cute tidy and good, not great at all but was good for four seasons
