To everyone at 1916 Company and all of the Watch collectors that also came into town to spend the weekend with me ❤ from the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you so much. I appreciate the hell out of it. I’ve met some incredible people in this watch collecting journey You guys are awesome. 🙌🏼
Shane, you are what makes watch collecting fun and exciting. Your passion shines through, and I am proud to call you a friend. Tim, you are the best in the business.
Exceptional episode. Shane is a down to earth as you’ll get. My wife and I got to meet him and his lovely wife at the Moserland opening in NYC and they’re as authentic as it gets. I can’t agree more about Moser and their connection and accessibility to the consumers. You definitely feel like you’re not just another number. They make serious pieces without taking themselves too seriously. It adds a tremendous amount of fun to this hobby.
I would never wear an invicta, but I totally understand the love for his father made him love a certain watch brand. He has a great collection and seems like a humble collector. Awesome video.
Couldn't agree more, a close friend of mine is also into watches and doesn't understand how I can wear Seikos when I got a Royal Oak in the safe... I just bought him a Citizen for his birthday hoping he will understand 😊😊
Another great interview. Not an invicta fan, but respect him for standing by what he likes and owns. He has fun with his watches and that’s all that matters.
You two gentlemen are so real, so down to earth. I’m just a lowly retired fireman who loves watches and yet I would feel at home in your company. Thank you for a wonderful video.
Another fascinating collector, I appreciate his approach and can see myself doing going down the rabbit hole of disassembling and assembling a timepiece 😅. I haven't had direct contact with the H Moser team, but they seem friendly and approachable. Shane's experience with Journe is kind of what I experienced. I went to the boutique for an event they hosted and couldn't be more impressed with how friendly and approachable they were, the complete opposite of what I thought it would be, and Cesar.. he's the man. I have not taken their invitation to come back to talk more about Journe but I will when I'm ready. Great job by Tim and The 1916 Company... keep it up
Talk about a watch lover. This guy is sick…in a good way. Love his humble nature and attitude about collecting. I think we all can learn from him. Fun video Tim!
Tim, enjoy all of your content…however the collector series are awesome! Best parts are when they say something and I am like “yeah me too, I can relate!”
I'm 70. Have gone from being an Enthusiast to a "Collector" back to an Enthusiast. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and the mindset of Shane. Went to the Independents years ago. They get more wrist time than my high priced Vault Monkeys and are SO much more enjoyable. But I'm still left with the "dilemma".... I need two more wrists.👀
I met Tim Mosso and Edouard Meylan. I met them here in Miami at the 2019 Watches&Wonders. I was sporting my Hamilton T-shirt and double fisting with my two Khaki military pilot chronographs.
one more comment... based on what your guest has been speak about... AP and their arrogance... most people are blaming the rolex how the AD approach them... but what AP is doing right now its much more arrogant... not open the door, asking to write motivation letter if you want to buy watch and others stupidities...
The Invicta thing is them laughing at themselves and not taking themselves seriously. Invicta plays a huge role in watch collecting as long as you know what role that is: cheap fun like a Swatch.
This is so spot on 🙌🏼 the Invicta gladiator in the video is actually owned by Rob (the Navy seal )who has also been on the collector series it’s a watch everyone jokes around with and has fun with. It’s been tried on by a crazy number of watchmakers, Watch CEOs. There’s actually a couple of videos about this exact watch. Philippe Dufour has tried it on lol this watch has traveled the world 😂
@@Moser_club Lol just joking it was refreshing watching your video and hearing the story - I also picked up a Moser last year ( Streamliner PP Calender ) so I'm in the Moser Club .
@@Moser_club Yes it's very subtle , you'd never know it was a complication piece - will you get the salmon dial ? I picked up the grey...... I first tried it on at the Wynn in Vegas but didn't buy it then decided to purchase one back home in the UK. I like the fact you can wear the Moser without fear of theft as only those that are watch nerds recognize it. The bracelets are stunning. I'm convinced the streamliner will be viewed as a future classic in years to come. It really is unique
I'm sorry but how can you take a "collector" wearing a 100$ Invicta monstrosity seriously ? That and his grotesque, brutish mannerisms & speech and unkept personal appearance are not up the the high standards of The 1916 Company
Dude, don’t be so judgmental! People from all walks of life and “sophistication” can collect watches and we should cheer them all on. Appreciate this video 🎉🎉

Normally I get bored with these episodes half way through but man, time flew watching this. Proper watch enthusiast.
Man, congrats on your perspective! What a great interview.
Honestly, wearing that Invicta next to a table full of your H. Mosers is a huge flex. Gotta love it!
Shane, you are what makes watch collecting fun and exciting. Your passion shines through, and I am proud to call you a friend. Tim, you are the best in the business.
I appreciate you man. You have definitely opened some awesome doors for me. 🙏🏼
So good seeing a collection which isn't Rolex after Rolex. Cheers.
You think you’re passionate, then you see Shane’s tattoo.

"Watch collecting is a weird journey"...yes, yes it is!😂 Love this video, thanks so much Shane and Tim❤
Can confirm the great vibes from Moser, Journe and Shane's general awesomeness 🍻
I would never wear an invicta, but I totally understand the love for his father made him love a certain watch brand. He has a great collection and seems like a humble collector. Awesome video.
This is the proper watch enthusiasm.
While you wearing 20K F.P. Journe or Moser you can still enjoy $100 Invicta watch.
Couldn't agree more, a close friend of mine is also into watches and doesn't understand how I can wear Seikos when I got a Royal Oak in the safe... I just bought him a Citizen for his birthday hoping he will understand 😊😊
if Patek can't sell this man a watch, I don't want Patek
Patek doesn’t care about this dude lol they’re the stuffiest brand around. They don’t deserve a watch fanatic like him.
Patek doesn’t care about passion. They care about mega famous people and about old money.
*bro wtf shout out to this guy, What a great episode, just fantastic story genuine, great Job*
Another great interview. Not an invicta fan, but respect him for standing by what he likes and owns. He has fun with his watches and that’s all that matters.
this guy is cool ... well done Shane & Tim

The Invicta story is awesome. 😂
Talk about a watch lover. This guy is sick…in a good way. Love his humble nature and attitude about collecting. I think we all can learn from him. Fun video Tim!
Wow!! Watch collecting passion at its best!!
Tim, enjoy all of your content…however the collector series are awesome! Best parts are when they say something and I am like “yeah me too, I can relate!”
Amazing interview. Love the variety of watches and his journey 😃
this guest is a true badass. loved it.
really great conversation... true collector.... I love this format, discussion... to see/hear a story not only watch spec. .-) thank you
These episodes should also be on Netflix, Amazon etc. Tim is the GOAT. Still waiting for the Wolfgang episode though 😀
Still have my Invicta, now known as 3044, from 20 years ago.
Wow! What a collector! Epic conversion ❤
My favorite Journe...love that piece! Thanks to you both.
Meaningful experiences & stories for each of his watches that all started with his Dad’s intro to the hobby! Memorable interview!
Much respect 🙏🏽

Thanks to Tim and Shane for the quality content!👍🏽🏴
Completely fantastic video!
Shane, thanks for sharing your journey.
Tim, thanks for the great content.
Enjoyed this
Great interview with a great watch enthusiastic and interesting pieces!
It’s about the fun of collecting 👍🏻great collection, really enjoyed this one!! Thanks for that and happy weekend
This is my favorite episode so far!!!! Amazing guy, I really love to know where he got those dials for the watches he made
A rock star
Many dealers are transactional and somehow lose focus on what really matters. There are few that focus on the watches and the people.
Love this and thank you both for sharing☺️🇳🇴
Top luxury brands act like a dominatrix and independents give you the GFE
What watch is Tim rocking? The purple strap and salmon dial are interesting 38:52
Great video ❤
Awesome!
I met Tim Mosso and Edouard Meylan. I met them here in Miami at the 2019 Watches&Wonders. I was sporting my Hamilton T-shirt and double fisting with my two Khaki military pilot chronographs.
Sounds like a good time :)
That Mother of Pearl FPJ is a heavy hitter. Never seen that before.
If Patek doesn’t call this man up and offer him a split second. I swear!!!
That Moser reminds me of the Omega Speedsonic lobster.
Florida man shares watch collection. Missed title opportunity 😂
Nice collection and story sir
Good conversation, good company, good watches, good times!
Men of the culture!

AP and their arrogance... most people are blaming the rolex how the AD approach them... but what AP is doing right now its much more arrogant... not open the door, asking to write motivation letter if you want to buy watch and others stupidities...
AP is completely obsessed with celebrity
what is tim wearing 🤔?
It’s a Dan Royter
@@Moser_club 🤔, the new one?
I think so that one’s not released yet
@@Moser_club will txt dan immediately 😉
8:32 Which is correct, irreplaceable or unreplaceable?
Irreplaceable
I gotta be honest I was half a bottle of bourbon deep at that point 😂
I could be wrong here but the whole Invicta thing seems to be more of them laughing at them than actually enjoying them?
The Invicta thing is them laughing at themselves and not taking themselves seriously. Invicta plays a huge role in watch collecting as long as you know what role that is: cheap fun like a Swatch.

There is watch addiction (count me in) and then there’s getting a watch tattoo on your chest.
Well ok , Shane is a Cool guy . This was a great watch . Pun intended .
Also love habring, but dont tell anyone about them
is that a watch he's wearing or did it fall off the xmas tree ?
I actually took it from Rob the navy seal. It’s his watch it jumps around the collector circle lol
@@Moser_club Lol just joking it was refreshing watching your video and hearing the story - I also picked up a Moser last year ( Streamliner PP Calender ) so I'm in the Moser Club .
Damn, that’s a killer watch it’s on my list to pick up soon

Journe and Moser are becoming next PP and Rolex. Not that exciting...
yikes with that trash invicta
This channel has the worst collection overviews. More 9-figure networth people with the same exact collection of Rolex/AP/Patek Nautilus please.
looks like a paid ad by moser no doubt

You are everything that is wrong in the watch community
“Time” for a little self reflection my friend.
The only thing that's grotesque is this comment
Dude, don’t be so judgmental! People from all walks of life and “sophistication” can collect watches and we should cheer them all on. Appreciate this video 🎉🎉
Disgraceful comment
