I can see it this way. Santana and Ortiz split off, chase after the tag titles. As does the rest of the IC. Down the line, while either trying to get the titles or probably after they’ve hopefully won them, The IC patch things up. AEW uses a faction based system, similar or inspired by NJPW. And factions always have members fluctuate in and out. They break up, get back together again.
WWF had similar system during the attitude era. Nation of Domination led to the rise of The Rock, DX to HHH and The Brood to Edge and Christian.

Kingston seems to come across as the corrupter and resenter character. He resents everyone he thinks held him back, then he tells others to do the same. He's like a devil, ruining relationships.

I think to split Jericho and the rest of the Inner Circle off from Santana and Ortiz. Those boys need to get the ball rolling as a tag team now and they're NOT going to do that under Jericho at the moment. Y2J has done miracles building up Sammy Guevara and Santana & Ortiz but those boys are now capable of handling their own shit by themselves.

I like everything in this match except the ending , it should have took more than 1 clothesline to take down Jericho plus he kinda no sold it after the pin , other than that this was a pretty fun match
Santana uses a discus lariat as finisher quite often in singles matches
I don't really mind that he no sold such a shit finisher, the pin can be written off as being distracted and then rocked due to Kingston's return.
I think the whack in the face by Ortiz was what got him not the clothesline.

Jericho is THE guy in this business. He invents himself and everything around him. And by the way he brings talents over and has no problem to lose matches. That is the difference between him and other greats in this business.

Maybe a hot take, but I don't buy Jericho as the heel in this story.
Maybe it's just me but he looked like more of a face than anyone else did in this video. LAX didn't do any heel things but once Hagger decided to take a nap it felt like a handicap match where Jericho looked like the underdog, didn't help that Kingston was doing things like pushing the ropes and that jumping on the apron part which is rarely a face thing. Fun match overall but not the greatest story telling imo.
He does seem like he just wants to be their mentor and he thinks he's being betrayed. Kingston may be the heel. He seems to have turned PnP against Jericho.

Nor do I. Kingston trashed Jericho in multiple interviews for no reason, brainwashed Santana and Ortiz into turning against him, and more or less cost Jericho this match by getting involved. Chris did nothing to warrant this.
Which is why I can't understand people saying they can't wait for Jericho to go heel or JR defending Eddie Kingston as if he didn't cause a distraction hoping on the apron. At least Tony Shavoni pointed that out when Jericho kicked Kingston off the apron.
