@@NobbyOnCars Same in a Jeep Wrangler (possibly the best off road mass production vehicle you can get) as a Compass. It's by design by Jeep and has no real problem for on road use.
It's a Jeep - steering is a compromise between on and off road, but I do laugh when I hear people suggest it's a problem on the the road. Accurate steering is more to do with the drivers feel for the car and good drivers almost immediately get used to any steering differences between cars. There are also advantages to 'loose' steering.
Great review. Back wheels are not centered in wheel arches. Too forward. For that price I'd expect a better centre console and the back seat arm rest when down is a cheap shortcut. Prices of new cars gone crazy.
Good overall review we have one exactly like this., the fire engine, aisin gearbox and gkn axle is awesom drivetrain. Bro you cannot show a jeep and dont use it in the forrest and offroad then you will know why the steering is light. 🎉. Also the combination to only run single speed electric and then go to petrol engine is something very few phevs can do. Especially with a 4wd without middle prop shaft. ❤
Nice enough car but just doesn't look jeepy , I've got a 1.6 turbo diesel jeep renegade limited in black, absolutely love it and it looks how a jeep should look, great mpg too average between 60 and 70mpg on runs to work an back 20 miles daily 👌💪👍🏴
I like the handheld camera, gives a better idea of the vehicle.
Thanks, wasn’t sure!
Perhaps the play in the steering wheel is for off road use so you're not getting kick back through the steering wheel when driving on rough surfaces.
Could be. Didn’t get that in the Defender though and that’s a true off roader!

Dash and infotainment look like the one you'd find on the new Corolla.

Looks 'cheap' even though it isn't. Looks like something from the early 2000s outside and inside.
That's a timeless classic and beauty lies in the eyes of beholders.
What I've noticed about the compass from the 2019 model the back wheels aren't centred in the arch. It's very off putting

Beautiful
Nice!
The dash is a mess...too busy.
Not a car I’d buy.. looks dated, sounds unrefined and is far too expensive for what it is.
Dreadfully overpriced, they can have no complaints when they sell these in single figures in 2023
Do not buy this car, its clunky, cheap and you will get poor service. Trying to sell mine asap
