I am always drawn to the unusual. My late Mother often said 'that's your quirkiness shining through'. I knew that to be a good thing, Mother wasn't ever cruel or rude. Working a clasp into the front of a necklace is fun and quirky - especially such a lovely toggle closure.
It can also be a way to make jewelry more accessible! With a front closure it can be easier to put on for folks with limited arm mobility. Also, why have a fancy closure if it's hidden under your hair? 💕
Love this necklace! Pretty in pink for sure. I agree about the earrings being simple when your necklace has so many beautiful focal points. Those earrings are lovely little pieces!!🩷
Beki, Gorgeous Eclectic Necklace!💗💗💗 Love the SS flat mesh, the toggle and butterfly just dress the beads up beautifully. Love the simple elegance of the earrjngs too. Thanks for sharing. Hugs from FL.❄🌞❄
Hey Beki! Pretty design! You design with pink so effortlessly! It’s my favorite color, but pink is one of my struggle colors! I love the spring feeling this set gives off!
Sometimes with pinks, I think "what would 8-year-old Beki have wanted to wear?" and it helps. A lot of us tend to tone down our love of pink because of the color being made fun over the years of or even commoditized, but it's so pretty in all its variations, so I mentally just go back to before I let the world tell me it was a bad color.

I like how you jazzed up the toggle and butterfly. The pink rectangle beads look like watermelon jolly ranchers. Beautifully done.
LOL! They definitely do. Don't eat the beads!
Love this design. Using the toggle as a side closure was a great design element.
Thank you!
This is so pretty. I have several granddaughters that love pink and this is inspiring me to make something for them.

When you were putting the beads back into the slots, I thought you said Snots. It was before you crimped the butterfly side. LOL

Thanks for the giggle. 🤣

Hi Beki! Love this necklace! Question! Where do you get the wire mesh! I don’t find it anywhere! Thanks!💜
I get it from silversilk! The color I used for this necklace is "lotus" www.silversilkonline.com/flat-mesh
Thank you Beki! I’ll check them out!
Where did you get your crimp tool?
