Love this!!! I have a few of those containers from Michaels and Tuesday Morning. Let's see if this organization tip works for me. Lol. Thanks for the share.
This video I think is going to help me with some of the problems I’ve been having. This week is going to be chilly so I can justify hanging out in my scrapbooking room.😆
I love storing embellishments like this. Your boxes are way more detailed then mine - I am going to have revisit and decant some older product that is still in original packaging!
I did too...there are even some old-school gems that don't even stick to the acetate sheet they came on anymore. They just fall to the bottom of the little box this way
You are my Bin BFF! I"ve been using those 4x6 photo cases for YEARS way before CTMH brought out their branded one. 2 IKEA Raskogs are full by colors as well. Even the PML cards have their own case. Great tips about the labels. TY❤
It's SO nice to meet another bin BFF! 😊 I currently have my PMLs in one of CTMH's older Medium Organization Totes - if I ever need that for something else, these 4x6 boxes would be perfect...thank you for the idea!
I really like the idea to use those photo containers. I have been clearing out my stash of extra die-cuts. I’m hoping I can keep them to 1 drawer but if not this would be a great solution. Or maybe I could spend a day die-cutting my most common shapes and organize them this way. Thx for the ideas.
I also have some that have basic shapes...they're an off-brand so I need to consolidate to these....hopefully I'll pull from them more instead of cutting more...lol
Great tips! I forget about using 4x6 photo boxes! I really like how you, for example, put all the cameras together, whether they are wood veneer, chipboard or acrylic. So smart!
I am a thrift store shopper and have found 4 of these photo cases originally from Michael's or JoAnn's for $5 each. Felt blessed because I really didn't want to pay the sale price of $15 for them. Would love to have you tell us all the categories you used. Haven't sorted my embellishments yet because I don't have a good grasp on what categories would be the most helpful. Could use your list as a good starting point. Thanks! 😊
Great tips!! I just reorganized my embellishments in those bins and was sad that I only had one. I have some from Michael’s and I don’t care for them, they are color and the snaps are horrible. #regrets
Thankfully I haven't got a lot of embellishments & so once I clear up my mess, thought I would like to maybe put what I have in a album so that I at least use them. I didn't know about those bins from ctmh or I would have purchased them as they are a great idea & I would have used them to store all the ephemera I have created over the past years with trying out my stamps & die cuts or fussy cut & coloured in whereas at the moment they are all scattered about in drawers, in little repurposed cardboard containers or baggies waiting to be found & used up!! I also have 10 boxes still to be unpacked & homes found for the items that I bought on sale from ctmh. I look at my mess & know that I have to confront the problem but there is always another day... 🤔
This is such a great idea Kay, I actually have one of those bins from CTMH and have not put it to use yet. You have my wheels turning now!
I'm sure you'll come up with something AMAZING!

I'd at least try it...with the labels that easily remove, if it doesn't, you can always go a different route 🤗 TFW!

Chilly weather is perfect for hanging out in your craftroom!!! Have fun 🤗
Love this idea! This will help me locate things easier than digging through all my supplies.
It's soooo easy...and easy to clean up, as you saw at the very end 🤗

I have a lot of the photo cases. I use them for Tim Holtz embellishments.
They're perfect for so many things 🤗

I use the photo boxes too … awesome storage!

I agree - so many things you can shove in them...lol

It really does make a difference to group like things together even if they are made from different materials. TFW!
As a native Cape Codder, I honed right in on the first case you pulled out 😂😂😘
🤗 i have a lot of that one!
Great tips, Katy! TFS
Thank you, sweet friend!

So glad this helped and way to go in getting this at the thrift store! I will post my categories in the next day or so...good idea!
Great tips…TFS. BTW, what does DSP stand for?
Thank you! DSP is a fancy word for Patterned Paper from Stampin' Up!...it stands for Designer Series Paper

It's SO frustrating when you find something that works so well and then can't get your hands on more!!

I've been there with the baggies - it's almost impossible to tackle everything at once! It's a work in progress! There's always another day!
