I said the EXACT same thing! People are saying Spencer and Esmè might get back together- and I’m like they better NOT do that! Esmè did everything she did to Trina and the rest of his friends ON HER OWN! And amnesia doesn’t erase that fact.

I like the fact that Ava is realizing that a lot of Nikolas' actions were the result of Ryan & Esme messing with his head. He made some bad choices, yes, but he was very much a victim in all of this. Just like Spencer and Ava were. While this doesn't absolve him of his actions, its important to recognize he never would have made them, had it not been for Ryan. Nikolas falling into Ryan & Esme's trap doesn't make him stupid. Ryan has always been characterized as a master manipulator. He knew where to hit Nikolas where it hurts because he knew the one greatest fundamental truth about him: he is his mother's son. One of the things that was said about Nikolas early on in his time on GH was that he has his mother's heart, and that like his mother, its easily broken. Everything good about him, he got from his mother, but also some of his most toxic traits, come from Laura as well. There is a parallel that has always existed between Nikolas and Laura. And the one that doesn't get talked about enough is the fact that they both have an emotional instability that when pushed leads to impulsivity and reckless decisions or actions. In the months leading up to his death (and until they say otherwise, he's dead) he grew more and more unstable as he slowly began to lose control of his life. Whether it was Ava, Spencer or Victor, Nikolas was getting hit from all sides, his actions more desperate, more reckless, until finally there is a moment where you can see he just falls apart. I feel like Nikolas felt he had ruined everything and that he had nothing left. I don't feel like his scenes with Ava were a real threat against Avery. I feel like he knew what buttons to push to make her react. I feel he went to Wyndemere with all the intentions of never coming back. His last scene with Larua was a goodbye. You could see it written all over his face. If Ava didn't go after him, he knew threatening Avery would make Sonny go after him and that's what he wanted. He acted this way after Emily died, when he refused to seek treatment for his illness because he felt he had nothing to live for. I feel this was a similar situation. I feel like part of Ava knows this. That Ryan's manipulation led Nikolas to this dark place and its why she is so adamant on blaming him for Nikolas' death.
I'm so glad that Ava told Spencer the truth about what Ryan and Esme did. I wanted him to know that it wasn't all his fault how everything happened. Yes, he made some bad choices by actively going after Ava but he was manipulated and placed in that situation. When he realized the repercussions and that it led to him, and his father's current relationship... WOW, the acting, the emotions... Nicholas Chavez did an amazing job as usual. I just wish they had let Trina be in some of the scenes with him as well. #Sprina

Wait to Spencer finds out about his father and Ava's involvement. The character growth in Spencer is really good everything is coming to light in every situation with all these characters and I love it
This. I feel like the show is doing what it can to paint Nikolas in a more sympathetic light. I feel like Ava truly believes Ryan to be responsible for leading Nik down this dark path. Telling this to Spencer will also help to hopefully give Spencer a more sympathetic view of his father once everything he did comes out. The fact is that Nikolas wouldn't have done this if Ryan & Esme hadn't hit him from all sides. Ava using that video against Nikolas, knowing full well he made it out of love to protect her was a low blow. When Spencer discovers that and discovers that she killed his father, covered it up and made him think he just bailed on him -- there will be no corner to hide from his wrath. Especially since they are warming Spencer up to Nikolas and how protective he is of his little brother.

I agree. Spencer and his obsession with this baby story line need to go. Give him another story line that includes Trina. Maybe they can solve a mystery or something.
No one forced Nikolas to sleep with Esme. I don't understand why Spencer or Ava are putting it ALL on Ryan Chamberlin. What kind of father sleeps with his son's girlfriend? No amount of "manipulation" can force a grown man to do that!
Same can be said for Ava. What kind of mother sleeps with her daughters boyfriend? She’s no better than he is.

Listen if gh wanted esme to be pregnant with nic and not destroyed his reputation they should have have esme drugged nic and then sleep with him. So nic thought he was sleeping with ava but wake up to seeing esme but doesn't know he was drugged. And when everyone finds out esme drug him into sleeping with her then nic will get a pass from everyone case close
Nic will get baby ace, ava and spencer back as a family for it looks like spencer now likes ava.

Okay, SPENCER. Stop pouring all of this on ESME. You were All In; even After the Car Burning. You could have Stopped It Right There, but you Did Not. That would have shown us that you had at least Some Integrity.
It is only after you think you have Lost your Dad Forever, that you have found some Remorse. And not because you hurt NIKOLAS, but because You Feel Alone.
AVA is really doing the same thing as ESME. Only showing compassion for SPENCER because she knows that She is the one Responsible for NIKOLAS being gone “Forever.”

GH: Please give that Baby to an Adult to raise. (I’d rather see them let SASHA adopt him as a single parent, than let SPENCER have him. He has a Lot More Growing Up To Do.)
Esme went to far. She is evil. Ryan told her not to involve Spencer's friends. Spencer also owned up to his part.

The writers are so busy trying to turn SPENCER into a Somewhat “good guy,” they let slide the fact that SPENCER was Nasty, Unforgiving, and Resentful of NIKOLAS from the Moment he came “back to life.”
Ironically, even Then it was AVA trying to encourage SPENCER to try to understand and forgive NIKOLAS. He wasn’t having it (and he hadn’t even Met ESME yet). All she got was Torment and Obstinance for her “trouble.”
“Easy Pickings” for someone like RYAN and ESME.
SPENCER has a ways to go before I buy into this “sudden love” for his little brother; or his “new-found maturity” he thinks he has to raise him. (So far, all he’s doing is planning on Buying Help. Just like his Father.)
This new “contrition” for how he treated his Father is a bit too much too soon, as well.
But I will stay tuned….
