For the record: I don't agree with FSLabs' previous conduct. This video is, however, an objective review of the addon, for those who are interested in / considering purchasing the product. Merry Christmas, everyone!
I will never again purchase an FSLabs product, having seen firsthand the questionable tactics they employed in the past. Beyond these unethical practices, their offerings have arrived disappointingly late to the market and lack any compelling justification for renewed attention. By contrast, Fenix has been a paragon of excellence, blending an exceptional price point with an earnest commitment to customer satisfaction-treating users as valued contributors rather than mere consumers. This transparent, consumer-focused philosophy not only demonstrates Fenix’s respect for the broader community, but also highlights precisely why their approach stands head and shoulders above FSLabs. When a company operates with both integrity and innovation, as Fenix does, it inspires enduring loyalty and sets the gold standard for flight simulation products.
I also do not agree with their previous conduct but can i just say what a joy it is when a properly quality addon is used by someone who really knows what they are talking about. This was an absolutely first class video! Further to that thank you for all the videos you have put out this year. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

For the same price, I can get the Fenix A320 OR the a319/21 bundle. The whole P3D A320 bundle cost nearly triple what the Fenix bundle cost, and I loved the FSlabs on P3D. But Fenix made a better aircraft for less in my opinion. If FSLabs were smart they would have gone for the NEO, the FBW is a solid addon, but it's obviously an upgrade to the default a320NEO. There is no true study level Neo in the sim, and FSlabs should have tapped into that market before Fenix decides to
FSLabs just lost a sale. I already own the Fenix A320 and was about to buy the Fenix A321 Expansion. Hearing about the positive FSLabs A321, I was so close to handing my money over. But while the FSLabs A321 may be considered better, I need not just features but long-term security and support. I trust Fenix and PMDG while FSLabs still need to prove they have changed.
So nice to see FSLabs back in the sim. I had the full package on P3D and loved how in depth they were. Right down to simulating a bird flying into a chosen engine. However, unfortunately I'm so invested into the Fenix now, I just cant justify the switch.
Great video! Interesting to see the failure simulations added to the Airbus by FSLabs. Nonetheless I think a lot of people would opt for the Fenix as it is a solid offiering, amongst many other reasons. Wouldn't be surprised if FSLabs decide to sell their more-desired, rumoured a321neo as an extension on top of the a321ceo. That way people would still have to buy the ceo in order to get the Neo. We'll see.
The takeoff date v-speeds are so high with the fslabs for improved climb performance. I wish they would get a setting to select it or std-speeds like the simbrief performance. Very sceptical to fslabs. Expensive, poor service/support and generally a bad track record. I have not tried the fenix as well, but so i cant really compare

I hope that helps. All the best! : )
Grreat video! FSLabs seem to have made a good product but outside of the icing effects, tech log, and other attempts to stand out like these it's the same depth you're getting from Fenix for way more money. Also their previous conduct means regardless of what they achieved with this release I don't think anyone should buy it. Defending a company sending out malware is hilariously stupid by some people in these comments.
The sheer lack of YT videos and reviews of this plane show what a flop its release was. I have no doubt it’s a nice plane but like so many others I am happy with my Fenix busses. Releasing this without a cabin, radar, worse textures and modeling than Fenix and asking $70 for it was obviously a miss. I love the competition in the market and hope they continue with further releases that the community wants like the NEO but this obviously missed the mark.
It has a cabin, and better textures than the Fenix, better flight model than the Fenix. Radar cannot be implemented due to Asobo not making the weather API available.
@ flight model - yes, visual model and texturing - no They could still implement the 2D radar like PMDG, FSS and other devs. Something is better than absolutely nothing. Anyone saying otherwise is simping.
As a real world Airbus pilot I'm surprised to hear you say it feels like it's "on rails", given that the real Airbus flies extremely digitally and can itself feel like it's "on rails". Anyway, nice review.

Correction, they attacked people who stole their product. Not customers. I guess you're the same type of people who sue because you cut your arm breaking into someone's house.
There is nothing here that impresses me in the slightest. The MEL stuff is cool and all but I’m sure Fenix will get there eventually. While FSL has been busy porting over one variant taking four years, Fenix has been busy getting us all A320 family variants after all. Beside the MEL stuff and documentation, Fenix looks far superior. FSL models and textures also look embarrassingly bad and the flight model looks to be isolated from the world around it. Airbus is indeed flybywire but it’s not above the law of physics. The flight model implementation looks very basic and reminiscent of P3D rail physics. Besides that I find it a bit questionable that you gave a company with this track record a platform. Are they worthy? Not in my book.
Two things. First, any keyboard warrior who disparages actual RW pilots is a moron. Second, if you do succeed in opening the flight deck door, the aircraft formats your ‘C’ drive… Oh c’mon, give me a break it’s Christmas. Anyway, it’s a shame that a seemingly half decent product is hamstrung by history. Can understand folks not wanting to go anywhere near this because of it. From my side I’m Fenix all day long (tried and tested) and FSLabs are just too late to the party but that aside, as somebody involved in software development, PCI and finance, I’d not go anywhere near them. It’s beyond my comprehension to switch off my work laptop, turn to my private flight sim PC and then install software from them. Principles I guess.
There is definitely a cabin, and there has been since release. Re the flight model, I would only agree about the nose wheel steering, it did appear to have a dead zone, but that has been improved with today's update. It's interesting to hear you note the subjective opinion of RW pilots, and that you say the aircraft feels like it flies on rails, as a number of RW Airbus pilots have made the point that yes, it feels like it's on rails, just like the real A320 and A321. I definitely prefer this over the Fenix, and it's not close. I feel that some people are using the internet popularity contest, and echoing the anti FS Labs sentiment, so a fair judgement is hard for them to make. Furthermore, FS Labs "previous conduct" does not even deserve a mention, so I'm not sure why people are so hung up on it after so many years, particularly as no laws were broken.

It's not an airport no need to announce departure.

Find it sad that people can't let go of the past. Always saying "Well FSLabs bad because malware" when they have NOT tried the product. Did the malware affect you, it was to stop pirating iirc.
Imagine defending a company that installed malware onto customers computers.
@@gordo1163 I am not defending them. However, you fail to actually argue against any of my arguments further proving my point. Did it affect you in any way? If so, how? Was it negative or positive from your perspective? What do you actually think is wrong with installing malware to combat pirating?
@@Chickennuggetman2839 It's a decision based purely on Ethics and the consumer is entitled to make a decision based on the company's ethics regardless of the product offered. You may not agree with that but I don't see any justification of someone installing malware on a consumers PC for the purposes of combating piracy. The ends do not justify the means and other methods could have been found to protect the product. You may be ok with that type of behavior but i personally am not. FSLabs would have to put out a statement stating that they no longer condone or allow that practice and acknowledge that they were wrong in doing it for me to purchase anything from them. If i cant trust the dev why would i purchase from them ?
@@Chickennuggetman2839 You have to remember what happened back in FSX when people people pirated the PMDG MD11 basically nuking the sim. Same person.
@@jamiegrant7973 It's not a decision based purely on ethics. Installing malware is an illegal act, so is pirating. Essentially they tried beating illegal acts with an illegal act. If this was a question based on ethics you would not use UA-cam, Google or any major social media platform for that matter, as they collect and often sell your data, which you accepted to.
People that rushed into buying the Fenix because they couldn't wait for the FS Labs are practically the same as those who bought Captain Sim trash because they couldn't wait for PMDG. Fenix quality isn't even close to FS Labs. As for this influencer rating the Fenix flight model over the FS Labs, well, now I know he's not a RW pilot. People get away with saying anything on UA-cam.

HAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAA What a joker
You're kidding right?
nah I ain't falling for this bait
Are you on the FSL payroll? You realise ITB is a RW airbus pilot right?
Fenix = no malware
Fslabs = test.exe
