Mechanic is not there to just replace the non-conforming part, but to see if parts can be salvaged by doing an economical repair to a given part this way both are happy.
@@planeexplainer5938 Economical Repair is given by the hourly rate. In India or whatever 3rd world country that is you have cheap labour / hourly rate and it makes sense to try and fix things. In US or other countries it would cost you a lot more to try and fix "a cheap part" like that AC Compressor, which is less than 300 - 500 USD.
I am maybe not a mechanic, but that level of skill and knowledge got lost in our system of buy and throw away. They are doing it correctly, repairing existing parts, replacing small broken pieces and getting the contraption in perfect working order again. This is wholesome
This man has felt a lot of pain judging by his fingers but he is still an excellent mechanic. In the west this compressor would be thrown away and a new one fitted at around $1000- $2000. So much respect. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
I live in middle Europe and remanufacturing compressors is common thing here. Not only small carshops like this doing it, but also big companies like Bosch. You buy remade compressor and if you give them old part, you get big discount (100 eur for example). They remake your part and sell it again this way.
Amazed by this A/C mechanic's skill. He must have years of experience in this trade, by the way he did the repair. Also like the scroll type Japanese compressor. The customer will be happy and.......cool!

Do you think it's really high? The mechanic did not evacuate the air conditioning system. This is a very serious error that will cause the expansion valve to freeze. A big disappointment for me.

Я так понимаю - компрессор разобрался (виден открученный или сломанный болт) и начал по-стыку половинок травить. В целом - единственное видео, где более или менее нормально что-то делают.
These guys are excellent at doing this kind of work! You can always tell someone who "KNOWS THEIR SHIT" By how they work. They do their job as they would be putting on socks or pants.

This has got to be the cleanest, neatest shop in that whole country. “Great job” to the mechanic.
