Shemp complined that Christine wasn't selling her slaps well enough. He said "dont be afraid to really let me have it." The last punch, however really connected and bloodied Shemp`s nose. He was ok with it tho and said "good job kid."
Funniest scene of the episode. And all those punches were real ! She was so worried about hurting Shemp, They had to redo the scene multiple times. Shemp had to tell her to do it, And he’ll take it.
Oh, I like the scene where Moe and Shemp get entangled in the phone booth just ro get a Nickle, and winds up destroying it! Lol. And when Shemp drops the ring in the piano, Moe asks, "Do you see anything"? Shemp: "Yeah, wires"! 🤣 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!😂😂😂😂

Muchas gracias por compartir tan lindo video de una gran serie 😊😊. Me encantan las actuaciones del gran Shemp Howard y la hermosa Christine McIntyre. 😊❤❤😊.
I love how these 40s women were so strong and normal. How they ever evolved into the weak, hysterical women of the 50s (look at episodes of "One Step Beyond") portrayed on TV is beyond me. or the stupid, Mia Farrow types wearing baby doll dresses and acting like they are 4 years old. bring back these types of women. They were womanly, stylish, and beautiful but STRONG AND SERIOUS.
It took me a long time to notice that what I'm about to mention is bizarre, but here goes. The justice of the peace guy (the guy who marries people) has a large table mounted vise/clamp. WHY would he have something like that? It's as out of place as him using a _chainsaw_ for weddings! It's a wonderful short, but now I'll never stop wondering why he has one (in his office, no less).
No no. You are too fortissimo, too allegro, too Cointreau. Oh, is that bad? It ain’t good. You’re supposed to be singing about the voices of spring, not the eruption of a volcano.
I'm old enough to remember when a pay phone call was a thin dime, I missed the fat nickel era. I miss pay phones, didn't have to hear some self-absorbed schmuck on their cell phone in public.
Love this episode! Shemp's uncle leaves him with $500,000 but the catch is Shemp has to get married within 48 hours of the reading of the will, but he's got 7 hours to find a bride! Lol😅. All thru this episode Shemp cracked me up from the phonebooth, getting the crap beat out of him from this lady for impersonating her cousin, then all these other women who found out about the money fighting over him! And his client he's teaching her singing lessons has a crush on him and winds up marrying him just in time! And his first words: "HELP"!!! "HELP"!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
You know, I had no idea that Moe, Curly and Shemp were related. Brothers. And Larry Fine wasn't related but made a big contribution. I'm glad they got their star on the Hollywood walk of fame after decades lo g after their passing.
Thank you. The software is AVCLabs but it's more the hardware that makes the difference. AVCLabs works on low end GPUs but I use an RTX4090 and Ryzen9 CPU AM5. Some of these enhancements would have taken 3 to 4 days to complete using my old 3060.
Just a little mistake. Christine is actually right to take a vigorous line with harassers. The only flaw I see is that she is a little too quick to assume things. But that’s comedy. Note that (unlike Moe and Larry later) Shemp behaves correctly throughout. He never strikes a woman. Part of the reason the ‘slap’ thing works is because of that rule; it shows someone they have gone too far, and is not the opening blow of a fight. So, Shemp remains a sympathetic character through all this. Anyway, can he help it if he ain’t cousin Basil?
The women fighting over Shemp are gorgeous. The fitting suits, the hats, the hosiery. Today's women are covered in tattoos, they go shopping at Walmart in pajamas and slippers, and all the say is "I was like, she was like, they were like, it was like, literally like, brah, like literally, like like like like".
@@brianvector I wonder if that first singer was actually an accomplished singer. I play guitar and I know to play lousy is difficult! Must be the same for a singer! She nails it!
And if you would like to see the process, I started to include a short sample on each upload a couple of months back. ua-cam.com/video/cnayv5RCG40/v-deo.html (an example) I'm not a channel that just downloads content from the archive and uploads it. Every single one of my uploads is work I have done myself. I also had to prove this to UA-cam, which I did back in November last year. You want to know the process, see that link. I use AVCLabs for both upscaling and colourising. I use an RTX4090 with a 12 core 24 thread Ryzen9 CPU, 96GB DDR5 RAM on an MSI carbon motherboard. Each movie can take between 8 and 40 hours, depending on wether I upscaled to 4K or HD or increase the frame-rate. A movie in 4K at 60fps can take a long time to colourised, especially with render factor set at 32, which is my standard. I also use facial AI enhancement to increase the clarity. Settings for most colourisation, decrease saturation to less than 60, AI colourisation model is "soft". For movies with many dark scenes, I use the Bright AI model. You should check out the software, they have a free trial, then I suggest you download the original from the archive and see exactly how it works.
The plot for this goes at least as far back as the Buster Keaton silent classic “Seven Chances” (released 1925). Not that Moe, Larry and Shemp didn’t work their magic on this well-worn premise…
Colour is written in the title, no need to watch if you prefer black and white, plenty to choose from on UA-cam in the original black and white format. I might re-do this one in enhanced black and white but 215 movies to work on, I do my best.
