Very Nice! The most common mistake with the sickle bars is running the older ones with the newer machines with the cone clutch. If you don't have a planetary reduction on the top of the sickle, run the machine at very low RPMs. Second common mistake is attaching the rear to the rock shaft. It is supposed to hang from a mount that was supplied when new. It goes in the rear most lowest bolt for the running board. If it's hung from the rock shaft it will jump the belt and wear on it prematurely. Good luck with it!

Sweet machine, definitely worth a 6 hr trip. Sickle mowers are like gold here in NC if you can find one for any brand.
