Yo whelps, have you managed to get a rogue, keen speed shirking hatchet? I'm looking at this thinking it's could be bis but never see them on tp. Found one with vicious instead of rogue which is what I think you use. What are your thoughts?
Is this weapon combo still strong? I've recently been playing on the Fresh servers and have been enjoying this combo in PvP. Also if I'm not running Skewer should I get Keen Jagged perk so I still benefit from the 20% crit trait?
@@Bankai90 I don't know if matters anymore but he's using spear (stamina recovery perk below 50%), opr stamina potion, shirking energy on pants, hatchet 10 stamina per LA crit hit and stamina recovery on amulet

this perk is ridiculous lol. Definitely need a nerf instead of perma 30% for the opr rofl. Those are some crazy #'s being pumped out... Gonna have to find a keen/hearty/mortal ring for myself
No problem with it personally other then it being used with muskets. The only counter to a musket is another musket. My company has to slot players just to counter a musket with full empower sitting on a wall 80m away or so lasering everything. Its brain dead.
@@bobshanery5152 Its either re-work the musket or do something to deal with the combo of this ring. Personally, I think they'd go for dealing with mortal empower VS the musket but there being only 1 single hit-scan weapon, with 0 drop off at range with it having such a MASSIVE range is a problem.... They need to either make it projectile or remove the perk that removes the dmg dropoff so people find it less appealing... Right now range is way too strong in new world. Mages are fine now (finally) but bows and muskets are absolutely outrageous. Keep it hitscan, and have a dropoff or remove hitscan and keep the perk that removes dropoff. The whole musket tree is 100% pro's and 0 cons.

Cuz I mean unless you’re near some walls or any type of cover then you’re more than likely dead. Even more so if you have a musket premade running around together then you’re just gonna get melted from far away haha. I mean yeah they run around with barely any con but they’re so far away with a fucking zoom in perk so unless you have a musket as well then there’s nothing you can do. Before the “just get good” comments, you try playing against a musket premade running around together and a spear player as well.
@@MyDestroyer24 I think the people that respond with the "just get good" are musket players lol. If I catch them they're usually dead but I've run into some messed up combo's lately using social distancing/javelin/flourish and finish that stagger you then blast you in the face for 3-5k and then you're dead before you can close distance. The weapon is way too powerful and definitely needs some tuning... I think the changes above will definitely make it more level and if they want to go full-bore then give the musket (and bows) a heftier DR when it comes to stats and how much it increases.
OPR is usually filled with badly geared players and now its even more so. Arenas even have been pretty bad lately. Seeing people die in 2 shots. Kinda silly there is not some balance to this. Its just going to make people quit.
Wouldn’t recommend going into OPR as a fresh 60. Better to get your GS to 600 and then go into PVP. Sadly GS does make a huge difference in PVP and you’ll get melted by higher GS players.
OPR enemies are 70% ranger on Dry Tree server (others are mages and musketiers :S ), who always hits the target (you know what I mean :D )... So annoying to play with melee :S
ye they definetly gotta nerf overbuffed spears,.. 51% fortify for landing 3 hits.. nearly unlimited mobility, paired with shirking fort and shirking energy, aswell as stamina recovery and on top mortal empowerement..

The crazy part is you didn't even get the highest score in the match. I don't know how that is calculated, but it is broken.
its mostly dmg dealt so some dude tickling healers will have more. just had a 15-1 game and two people above me were 0-14 and 0-10
How do you slow them / constantly are able to chase and hit them from behind? If I try that, my attacks never connect even if I'm ontop of them.
A lot of it has to do with ping. I play at 150 nd cant connect attacks like that
25 seconds, dodging 12x.. + social distance ofc 12:25-12:50

no cuz hatchet does not go well with medium, you can play spear/hammer or spear/ga on medium tho

@@nereco yup hatchet's reach is short so you need roll to close gap and stick to enemy
