Yeah my experience with our 2020 Honda 450L Enduros from bone stock to full pipe + ECU flash is like a night and day different bike and the dyno shows it. I think the bike goes from like 28hp stock to 45!! They totally rip, and the fueling is perfect. I wonder how the 1050 XT gets on with those mods.
My 677 is modified, a lot. With a 16T front sprocket the indicated is 1 mph off GPS speed (high). Around 120 mph +- 5 mph depending on wind direction, up down hill.

Super stable! I really need to find some time to get my full ride video together for that bike. It is IMPRESSIVE and I think that if more people had a chance to ride it... LESS BMW R1250GS bike would be sold. The bike feels that solid and the electronics are that good.

It's not a superbike which is gutless at low revs, its all about the low range torque with this bike. You certainly don't need to go faster than 130 mph on a road bike, and if you do you're a fool.
Ha! Ha! I agree that 130 is plenty fast. Having ridden the "same motor" in other platforms I was surprised at the top speed. However... the off the line / torque is super impressive. I started riding a racing zx7r that's why these seem slow to me. But that motorcycle tires to travel. Now I want to buy an MT09 or a Vstrom 650 XT to travel, the Vstrom alone does not convince me because it does not reach 200 km / h instead the MT flies greetings from Paraguay where speeding is not illegal haha
@@Jeremy120493 if you want a fast bike for commuting buy a KTM. Not this most reliable bikes though, not most bikes with high horsepower and compression are anyways.

@@deandee8082 the other trick is to remove the throttle body secondary butterfly plates. Works a treat.

I did not run it on the GPS this go round. I did find the indicated to be about 3 mph off when the GPS was mounted to the bars.

Just watched another Asian dude get 218 km/hr on his indicated. 205 km/hr GPS.

@@daveyt4802 mount a SPEEDO HEALER. If you change sprocket in a bike, the speed of dashboard is not the same. Could indicate more or less

It got to 130 mph pretty quickly. I was actually really impressed with this bike. 10K less than the BMW it rivals... Totally worth it.
