Dec 2016 and dec 2017 I am here in saudi... I celebrate my christmas by liking my family photos on facebook :) this year hope to celebrate christmas with them.
Great reaction, ladies! That's the life of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). That's Filipinos for you. We will do what we have to do and go where we have to go to try to give our family a good life. That's the sacrifice we all have to endure and are willing to endure for our families. That's why Christmas is a big deal for us. That's family time! That's the time of the year when OFWs try to make it home to be with their families. Thanks again Alicia and Angelina Happy Holidays to you and your families!
Fishing Buddy 360 salamat same to u bro. Merry christmas and advance happy new year.. I miss my family never ko silang nakasama s pasko mula nong malaki na ako..lagi akong malayo s knila. Miss ko ang culture ng pasko s pinas kasi compare sa ibang bansa kasi s pinas feel mo tlga ang pasko. Ung pinahalagahan mo ang christmas holiday. Not like dito s ibang bansa iba tlga kysa sa pinas
Mazelin Ranas ....how right you are! There is nothing that can compare to our Christmas in The Philippines. Christmas here in the States is mild compared to what we have at home. Where are you at by the way?
Fishing Buddy 360absolutely ur correct,,, I'm presently in Greece, and i have been her 8years but I do not feel like Christmas here..not like in Philippines you really feel the christmas holiday, especialy during "SIMBANG GABI" with puto bongbong after the mass hahahahahaa...
OMG that Jollibee scenario is very common here in the Philippines. Our loved ones sacrifice almost everything to work oversees and send money to their respective family. It's hard but life must go on!! great reaction!!
This is the reality of most Filipino family, i'm an OFW as well, and i go home to Philippines every 2 years, but i make a video call to my family every week during my day off, my daughter is now turning 9 years old, and it's really hard to think that she's growing and i'm not by her side, when i go home it's always full of excitement but during the time that i need to go back again, I can't hold on my tears to see her crying, she's not saying anything like "mom please don't leave" perhaps she understands why i need to leave, it's like i have a heavy metal ball on my feet, it's hard to step and turn my back everytime i go back abroad.😢😢
I am sorry to hear from you. My heart is with you and I hope you can come home soon Angelina. I felt what you are going through like what Filipinos All around the world experiencing Let us pray for good Heath and happiness of our family members back home. Merry Christmas everyone !
@jollibee commercials are very heartfelt, but this one really hit me so hard. My mother has been an OFW for over 20 years and last year was the first time we celebrated christmas together; things were so different now- my youngest brother already has his own family, my elder sister had already lost her left breast for cancer and my mom seemed to age really fast. And for the first time in 20 years we were able to really celebrate the holidays together, as a bigger family now. I miss them so much that this commercial tears my heart apart every single time i watch it. I just hope that our sons and daughters would never have to experience what we have experienced just to have a decent life. Merry christmas to all of us! Enjoy the holidays
Merry Christmas mom Alicia & Angelina, when it comes to this Kind of reaction this family channel will gonna make you cry. You are both amazing person. And to all the OFW welcome back! My brother arrived last dec 11 and it happened to be my bday, i am still in recovery, cause i got hospitalized last Nov, still under medication. Being with my whole family this year is the best time to celebrate Christmas!
This hits me hard I lived in Bahrain for a year and I met Filipino workers who turned out to be good friends who I still am in touch with . They work so hard an have to leave their families to make money. Just sharing stories and pictures makes you appreciate what you have.
OFW are actually consider the Modern heroes in the Philippines, they go outside country to work and bring their earning money back home for Taxes, schooling, foods for their children and that helps The Philippines economy....
I've been away for 10 years now and my mom and family have not met my children yet. Though you adjusted but it never gets easy! I'm bawling my eyes watching this. 😢
I'm an Overseas Filipino Worker here in Saudi Arabia and it's very hard to be miles away from home especially in this season, but it is what it is... As we always say "Laban Lang!" (Keep on Fighting!)
I love your Genuine reactions... "You're my real life Jollibee Commercial".... In most cases, most countries, OFWs would rather save the fare in coming home every year to augment the remittance... AS YEARS GO BY they have different purpose until kids grow up and the savings will be for college education already. When the kids graduate, the Parents have been away long enough that they are already pushing for "residency" on countries they are working from... it is what it is but it is already a part of Filipino Culture... Filipino Singers and entertainers included. Thank you
I've been am OFW and that scene in the plane, where people clapping, rejoicing. That's not an exaggeration. I can relate to this not being me out there but my mom being an OFW an left me to my grandma. for 8 years although she does come home every 2 years but only stays for a month and then back to Saudi Arabia again.
Hello my Tita's I just want to share something.. My mom is a Overseas Filipino Worker. She work for almost 8 years in Saudi Arabia, then now in Hongkong for almost 10 years, She come home every 3 or 4 years so this Jollibee commercial really got me and made me emotional, Sad but i can't hug my mom this Christmas tho i know she is working hard for my future, Thank you my titas for reacting for this.
The video and your reaction remind me of my own OFW days as well as those of other OFWs. (OFW means Overseas Filipino Workers). I have been living here in the USA, but I myself was one of the Miliions of Filipinos working abroad . I worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 15 years. Compared to most OFWs, I was fortunate to have been accorded "family status" meaning my family was issued visa and iqama to travel to/from KSA and live there. Cost of good education in KSA (International School) was very prohibitive, so my late wife and kids traveled to KSA twice a year. Their mother always acquired absence permits from our kids' schools, enabling us to spend Christmas together in KSA. And, during summer school vacation, my late wife and our kids would spend two months with me in KSA, and we'd go to the Philippines together for my own annual vacation......One can easily see on the face how non-family status OFWs their craving to be with their family when they seein the mall or on the streets my kids and those of other OFWs.
My husband is working in Saudi Arabia for 6 years..he comes home every 6 months but he tried his best to come home this December to celebrate my birthday this coming December 24..❤❤❤
We were left behind by our neighbors, but Philippines tourism are still alive and kicking. If political, religious differences solved, then peace and order will come and economic progress to Philippines as we all been craving for. It will happen in our generation, believe in Filpino "Bayanihan" Culture
Angelina, I understand totally where you're coming from. Not only do I have a nephew with autism, I taught special ed for at least 13 years. I wish you can come see your family wherever they are. It took me a solid 13 years before I saw my family (long story). Life is very short. I really hope you can come home and enjoy your life to the fullest...
this is the reality of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) they can sacrifice all to give good life their family.. "BIG SALUTE TO ALL OFW AROUND THE GLOBE"
I salute all Overseas Filipino Workers in the world! I don't have an OFW parents, but I met people who had one. I may not understand the challenges of the parents and the loneliness of the children, but I know it is hard.
you made me cry !!!! huhu !!!! life could be so cruel, at times, but it is reality !!!! I hope you and your Family will be together again !!! Oh Angelina thank you for sharing your story about your child,, I am touched with your story,,, you made me cry,,, I understand how you feel !! I hope this New Year will bring you happiness and dreams do come true !!!
I can't stop crying right now like my tears keep falling down even I hold it. Christmas especially.. This is my 2nd Christmas year and apart from my children and my whole family. 😢😢😢😢😢 though I'm am not be with you guys this coming days of Christmas but I wish you all the most merry Christmas . Hi! I truly enjoy watching you two react. These commercial make me smile and cry a lot too. Angelina you mentioned that your eldest is autistic, I recommend reading "Joshia's Fire". I found it very inspiring for different reasons. I hope it would inspire you too.
N.p. the reason i subs. is bec. you guys are bias on doing comment. Ur just commenting base on what u reacted ur not doing it just to gather subcriber. So keep it up. I think u guys are the best reactors. GOD BLESS YOU. and Merry X-mas love from the philippines
That is the life of our families whose parents are OFWs. My mom had been an OFW for 23years. Now that me and my siblings are now grown-ups, we make sure to visit our mom atleast once a year until she decides to retire.
That is the reality of the Overseas Filipino Worker . We sacrifice everything just for the better future of our family. We hide our feelings . We feel them that we are always OK. Just for them.
Wonderful reaction from both of you...one more thing pls react to one commercial title "Silent Christmas" and also you will like it...by the way these is continuation of jollibee commercial title "Apo or Grandchild" i hope you remember these one.
Iam an ofw in africa and when i go phil. During christmas its a joy trip from boarding, during flight and on landing everybody is singing on the plane , sorry for the non pinoy passenger, we are just like that if we are happy we sing

This is connected with the "Apo" commercial of Jollibee which you previously reacted, that is how long the son and parents missed each other reflecting the lives of many Filipino families separated due to necessity rather than choice.
As an OFW This hits me hard It is too tough being alone in a foreign land far away from our family So please to the families of an ofw value every money that they send and use it well because those are hard earned using sweat, tears, blood and even emotions because it is not easy what i/we going through

New subs here. Bursts in tears while watching the commercial and you ladies. Same here an OFW 2years contract left my wife and daughter but I am seeing them in apps everyday. I wonder how sad and difficult those years without social media tablet, cp and stuff.
Oh that's for sure, it was much difficult. For my first couple years in the US away from family i only bough calling cards and of course they had limited minutes depending on the country you calling, plus couldn't afford them all the time. Wrote letters as well. SO happy that technology progressed in this way, so for people like us who away from their loved once can still talk and see them. Good luck to you and your family, stay strong and Happy Holidays. :)
Angelina Eonni88 Thanks! Merry X'mas too. Unfortunately, fare is too expensive that going home yearly is not practical but sending them the money instead. Cheers!

This is the sequel of the Jollibee "Apo" Commercial.
@jollibee commercials are very heartfelt, but this one really hit me so hard. So sincere. I loved how you poured your hearts out, literally poured.
I'm crying too. Miss my family in Philippines.
Even when their work is hard, they just tell their son that work is easy so that the son will not worry much for them.Thats what parents are ...
OFW are actually consider the Modern heroes in the Philippines, they go outside country to work and bring their earning money back home for Taxes, schooling, foods for their children and that helps The Philippines economy....
"Let's go ahead and give it a go.."
Always looking forward to that line.. 😊😊
Thank you for always being real. I ❤ both of you! 😙😙😙
I've been away for 10 years now and my mom and family have not met my children yet. Though you adjusted but it never gets easy! I'm bawling my eyes watching this. 😢
May seem strange to foreigners but its true, the whole family meets their long-separated relatives at the airport. Every second they are home matters!
Before watching a Jollibee commercial, I make sure to drink lots of water to replenish all the water that will flow from my eyes afterwards.
The best commercial ever! I'm so touch...😢
I CRIED ALSO WATCHING THIS VIDEO. I FELT YOUR SENTIMENTS LADIES.
Got teary eyed here in Saudi Arabia. Missing my family so much. Christmas is always a 'missing moment' in my life for 13 years.

i wonder if you guys notice its the same set of cast from "apo" commercial. nice how they tie some of the commercials together.
As an OFW
This hits me hard
It is too tough being alone in a foreign land far away from our family
So please to the families of an ofw value every money that they send and use it well because those are hard earned using sweat, tears, blood and even emotions because it is not easy what i/we going through
i nearly cried by just seeing your reaction girls... its a sad truth about how parents do sacrifice time with their kids just to give them a nice life and education , since almost 11 million Filipinos are overseas Filipino workers (OFW)... i love watching you girls, great reaction vids definitely not Pinoy Baiting ( term they made for baiting Filipino subs) keep doing what your doing and more subs..
