    A couple more ideas...
Pharmacies for unused medications. Safe disposal while helping to protect our ecosystem.
Estate auctioneers for better quality household items and collectibles. Especially useful if you have a larger quantity of items you are decluttering or settling a person's estate. They pick up items and sell them on your behalf, taking a percentage of the profit for themselves, however they're doing all the work of listing and promoting for you. I've used them a couple of times and have had a reasonable financial return.

The pharmacy - of course, I can’t believe I didn’t mention that one. I drop off there all the time! Thank you so much for adding this.
And yes estate sales are great - and kind of fun to attend as a shopper too ❤️
      Thanks so much for sharing!!!

For Quinte area viewers, OrgaPro is a locally owned e-waste collection company also as another option! 😊

I am quite envious of your free waste/tech drop offs! Here in the States we usually pay and it's quite pricey! - Thank you for all of these great tips!

Best Buy in the states will take 3 items per day from you so if you are near one, it is the best option to take tech items. There is a big list of items they take on their website
