- Released by RISO in 1999 via the Print Gocco Club in Japan only, this device replaced the previous Print Gocco Digital CD-1. It can scan black and white and colored documents of 140mm x 90mm and burn them to a special Print Gocco master. CMY separations and halftoned screens can be made from color images automatically.
I was lucky enough to find this completely unused unit online and import it from Japan. I use in with a 120v to 100v downconverter, I'm not going to take it apart to verify if it will work on 120v because these are rare.
This is SO cool
It accepts normal B6 masters and will also work with CD masters, digital masters, risograph stencil (washi masters), and the roll master for the GoccoPro. I believe it images at 203dpi.
Interesting, at what resolution does it copy the stencil onto the master?
Where did you find it? I'd love to get my hands on one.
What size plate does it accept? Can it accept the ordinary Gocco mesh plates? (Thank you for sharing this video too by the way)
