Explain to me why people who never had seizures before or having them at 39 and 40. I am myself one of those people, I don't have history of epilepsy or even seizures. I just woke up one day and was got in the car and drove to my brother's work but didn't make it out of the driveway, right into a tonic seizure crashing the vehicle into a fixed object 4 months later clonic tonic seizures now seems to come every 4 months in this last year and a month I have had a total of six seizures there in this last month I had three 1 Grand Mal , and too complex impaired awareness seizures. I am an army vet serve six years one tour in Iraq I do have some back injuries, mostly lower back and you're common DDD, Facet Joint Syndrome and some others, believe the whole condition is referred to as osteoarthritis but also have neuropathy in radiculopathy along with it. Me never had seizures before in my life until 39 I really believe it might be linked to my lower back injuries from military-related service other than that I really can't recall any traumatic head injuries that I'm aware of. And most the time when I had my seizures they've been in the neighborhood between five and 15 minutes so yes I've been in status at the ellipticus at least three times but I still haven't found my freaking answers ..
    # just wake up one day with epilepsy
