There's some in other videos, but the Sopwith Triplane was only used for a short period. It's a fairly small target dodging and weaving, so it's not easy to get good shots.
Historically the German fighters at this time did have a big advantage, faster planes with 2 machine guns, Albatros DII and DIII. The first RFC fighter here is the Nieuport 17 with 1 slow firing Lewis gun. The German pilots were very well trained, the RFC pilots mostly weren't. RFC novice pilots were shot from the sky in large numbers.
@@Raben3721 Yes, but i think one of my main problems is that i find a severe lack in enemy planes over the front in 1917, could it be that historically the Germans had air supremacy through that year? I notice more aircraft in the sky in mid 1916 and late 1918 dates. I mostly play in November 1916 with the Albatross DII lt
@@bigbrain223 This mission is made by PWCG not career mode. You can regulate enemy plane numbers to an extent. Often in career mode there will be very few enemies planes. Air superiority changed with new Entente planes like SE5, Spad 13 and larger numbers. I'm not sure that career is historically based.
@@bigbrain223 It's a campaign generator. You can find links on the forum. Versions 1.5 or 1.6 work best. A good alternative to career mode. Also links to damage and AI mods by vonS.
I sure got a kick-out of seeing these old-timer First World War photo reconnaissance cameras. 📷
First time I ever saw a Sopwith Triplane? in one of these videos. It looks like a dangerous opponent, can soak up a lot of lead.

what game is this
Rise of Flight, a free download. You have to buy the planes you want to fly for $4 or $5.
Carrer honestly seems pretty easy playing as a german plane, wish the AI was a bit better at dogfighting
