There are so many artists out now that aren't even near the top that could smash Tupac in lyrics, flow, etc. Maybe not in sales or in cultural sway and attachment, but in skill, easily. Tech is on the top of that list. Rap has evolved beyond Tupac and Biggie in the same way you wouldn't argue that you'd rather have a rear-projection TV over a modern QLED. Everything just gets better as time goes on if you're looking in the right spots. Tech is an example of where to look for rap.
