Excellent horror game, but my favorite thing about it is how it extended the world of the original Alien film...and now bits of it were in Romulus! It's come around full circle...
This is still my favorite main menu of any game ever. The atmosphere I get from the sound and visual. Seeing how tiny the huge ship is compared to the gas giant and how small we are on the ship is so amazing
Sorry, but I have to nitpick here. Sevastopol is a stationary Space Station not a traveling ship. It was built on orbit of the gas giant KG348, piece by piece like our ISS. So many people doesn't know the difference or just simply ignore it.
10 years ago, when i first fired up the game when it first came out, i just stare at this screen for minutes. It perfectly showed how alone and ‘isolated’ the game was about to make me feel. To this day, it’s the only game i came close to getting a heart attack…
I totally get you here. They really nailed the vast majority of of this game. Even how the creators logos appeared a little rough, almost like VHS tape quality made me think "nice touch" The menu screen just gives an unsettling but weirdly peaceful feeling immediately
Few games I have been genuinely scared but this made me be on edge all the time. The fact that you cant kill it but only scare it away. Loved every moment of this game
seeing the hostile foreign planet with the backdrop of infinite nothing gives you this feeling. the ambient howl of the void and just the audio in general and the vibe it gives off is the greatest thing about alien. these are truly spaces where man does not need to be
I normally can’t stand horror games, they freak me out too much. But if it relates to something I enjoy, I’ll happily play it. And I’m so happy that this silly mindset of mine allowed me to play this awesome game.
You are so rigth buddy, it genuinely is the best Above of of FNAF, silent hills, resident evil, outlast, slenderman... Its just beyond all type of horror
The music, athmopshere already is doing half the work for the suspence and terror in this game. The next thing is the lightning. Absolutly crazy in this game. And lastly the alien, which is AI based and not scripted (except for a few instances). Unpredictablity is key for a horror game. It makes everything so much more frightening.
It is - Great production design, but story is weak, characters are weak. It is like a fan-boy made the film filled with one-liners from the other movies that made my eyes roll 360 while I said NOOOOOOOOOOOO doing a facepalm.
"Something's On This Station. Something You Wouldn't Believe."
Like what?
@@RadioSnakeInvasion6333 A KILLAH! YA GET IT?!
@@thea-ronator57 Okay..... Okay
What's your name?
If I get spooked in space.
They could hear me scream from outer space all the way to Arkansas.
How do we kill it!?
Excellent horror game, but my favorite thing about it is how it extended the world of the original Alien film...and now bits of it were in Romulus! It's come around full circle...
I loved this too. This game is canon to me.
@@BurtonMKelso The game is confirmed to be canon!

This and red dead 2 title screens for me, they are very atmospheric

One of my all-time favourite games and soundtracks.
100%

Visit Sevastopol freeport station they said. It will be fun they said....
Game over man. Game over.
On an express elevator to hell, GOING DOWN!
I just love how the game makes you feel a sense of dread especially when you first get on board Sevastapol. Love this game.
This game was terrifying to play which is what I love about it this game would've been a great movie ❤
I feel like Romulus might just be that movie
@@thea-ronator57 You were right! Isolation was clearly a big influence on it.

Great game, they should make a movie about this!
They have .... 3 not only 1 u have to watch them
i would love a prequel when the Alien gets on board.
Lol.
Alien Romulus is based of isolation
They made a web series adaptation of this game.
oh yes, that game is one of a kind, now I want to play it again! You've put some fantastic touches on this, greatness upon greatness.
The space is amazing with all the things are there and we don't know
One of thee Best Horror Games ever made
hands down!

I bought this as a physical game cartridge for the Nintendo switch. Glad i did. Got it on ebay in early 2024.
Sequel got announced the other day. It was a treat replaying this on the pc ten years later.
I am too timid to play this game, but I have watched many people play this game. Excellent Alien game.

We're in the exact same boat 😂😂 never played a horror game before or after this one, but this is easily one of my all time favorite games
Yes yes yes! One of my favorite games based on one of my favorite movies!!!
Greatest Horror Game of All Time.

Silent Hill 2 has that title, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I loved Alien Isolation for the heck out of it but SH2 is better in every way.
This is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your work with us.
Liked.
Subbed.
☕
Heck yeah! Love the main menu.
The foundation of all existence
primordial sounds
Geez, that new pilot taking FOREVER to land that shuttle! Damn

It's the end of the day and you've done all you can do. That's all that can be expected of you. Let's get some rest and we'll try again tomorrow
Can't wait for ai 2
"In Space No One Can Hear Your Screams"
that aint it chief
In space no-one can hear you scream!
"In space, no one can eat ice cream"
I have grey hairs on my head now because of this game
Would be sweet if that ship was moving so slowly.
La música al final de Alien 1 es subliminal cuando es expulsado al espacio.
How does music stress me out.
Is Alien: Romulus worth a watch? Didn't think the trailer was great.
10/10
Not 10/10 but worth watching, as an Alien fan I think it's better than two latest Scott's movies
worth it. Even pays homage to Isolation
no its garbage

This game has 60 minutes long menu-music?
Actually it has a 'so long as you have running electricity' menu-music.
We have a declining population I would put off buying for 36 months
magic!
Great UA-cam⛑Thank you Very Much💐Muchísimas Gracias⛑
