What way would you get it to work say someone walked into a zone and you wanted your own massage to go through it, I know someone that needs this for a drop of point
assume when you hear the buzzing it stops when disconnected from the audio output of the NVR ? if it does its due to the audio output , have you tried a new PSU also from a different manufacturer as some inline ones are not isolated well and can cause this issue
We are currently facing an issue with the latest version of the Apple Hik-Connect app, specifically with the broadcast button functionality. Our customer operates two laundromats and relies on the speaker setup for remote announcements. Since the recent iOS App update, the broadcast button has ceased to function as expected, impacting our customers ability to make announcements remotely. is there is a known workaround or temporary solution that can be implemented until a formal resolution is provided in the next app update. Any guidance or assistance you can offer in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Are you with the DVR/NVR to the latest firmware ? If the answer is yes , then you can use an old Android device as a temporary solution and report the issue directly to Hikvision
If you did it through static cameras for the audio output say I had 4 cameras with 1 speaker next to each camera would the speakers only go off on the speaker from which camera has triggered it or could I talk down all of the speakers at the same time?
if you take the audio feed from the NVR and into the Gateway unit then all speakers are trigged at same time , IF you added each camera to the software / app direct then you have more flexibility as you can talk out of the audio output of the camera needed, but this isn’t common , most accept the one to all format
With this speaker in mind ( sorry didn’t finish the previous update ) , this model is designed to be connected from 1 audio output either from NVR/DVR or camera , and they are not interlinked with other speakers, bit if you use the other format of the gateway and improved POE speaker you can do 1 to many at same time

Essentialy it works with any device with a audio output yes
