    I absolutely adore Love Live! I like idol anime in general, but Love Live really hits hard for me. It actually gave me one of my dreams for the future; to be an idol too. Idk if it'll ever happen, but I am trying my hardest! I practice singing, and I try to learn anime dances so that it might make me better at learning choreography in the future. Thanks to Love Live, I have a real goal I want to work towards. Before Love Live, I was just a little girl that had no aspirations for the future other than living with my parents for the rest of my life while being obsessed with anime. Now, I have something I genuinely want to do, and I couldn't be happier. I will forever be grateful to Love Live for this, even if my dream doesn't come true

      Something that would really help is getting vocal and dancing lessons. They’re super helpful for enhancing your skills and you’ll learn how to do these skills like a professional. I have done singing lessons for years now (not so much dancing but I learned overtime by myself) and it’s helped me expand my vocal range to the point where Love Live songs are easier to sing. I’d also suggest trying musical theater! It’s not the same as being an idol, but it helps you with getting over stage fright while also helping you coordinate singing and dancing at the same time while in front of other people. Whenever I perform, I always imagine myself being an idol and it helps me immensely. Go for your dreams!!

    I found out about Love Live when I was around 12. My "edgy teenager" phase was starting to show up and I was just antisocial. I never understood people who were acting girly. When the pandemic started, I was searching for something to watch. Then wanted to give the "nico nico nii anime" a try. And man... it was a literal experience. I don't know what exactly was special about it (I still don't) but even though it sounds like a joke it changed my whole damn life. I actually had the courage to act more feminine and started talking with my friends in class more. I also learned some dances from Love Live that increased my stamina as well. I'm 15 and I can definitely say that I feel less cringe and way happier than 3 years ago. I'm so grateful.

    I wanna see more i wanna see more!!! This video is so amazing because you told me that there is someone else on this earth who has the SAME STORY AS ME WITH LOVE LIVE and attracted many commenters who share the same!!!
    My story ofc is unique to me, but I always refer to Love Live as the anime that changed my life and inspired me to become who I am today. Wanting to be caring like Nozomi, understanding the difficulties of insecure characetrs like Hanayo and Rin, seeing the way they accepted Nico despite her flaws and decided to heal her and not to hurt her like everybody else would... Because they cared. I had a feeling that this can be real. I didn't let people who stand in lower standards than the Love Live characters affect me, and I didn't let myself fall from the standards the Love Live characters set for me. Be caring. Be kind. Be gracious. Be generous. And don't judge people without listening to their whole story. It's that simple
    It was told again and again through different stories. Yohane, Mari and Kanan, Ruby and Hanamaru... Especially the Mari and Kanan drama felt like a clear reminder and a new lesson, not to let that happen in my life. Not to let misunderstandings shape the way my life goes and steal away the most important things by far from me. And they were right. I was always grateful and looking forward to more lessons from them. And I found that analyzing the details of the anime with other fans proved impactful in unveloping whole stories that I didn't notice.
    Also, why do we consider anime with war more realistic than anime with jokes? The jokes don't take away the lessons. This is the easiest form to learn from, slice of life

    My story to Love Live is like the opposite to you.
    I'm a massive Shupporter just in 2020 after that one podcast episode. The fact that she said that she defied her parents' wish so nonchalantly and without any regrets despite not being that successful of a voice actress really resonate with me as I was completely squeezed by my parents on every single aspect of my life and after that, I learnt a lot more, tried a lot more, being healthier and more positive. After that, I watch the Niji anime (I never touched any of the other groups, games or magazines and mangas) and got inspired a lot.

    I think that every person who learns to love anime has one particular show that speaks to them on a personal level. Something that gave them the exact right message at the exact right time. For me it was Girls' Last Tour. I encountered that gem during the first winter of COVID-19, and its message of 'learn to get along with the hopelessness' was oddly comforting. I'll definitely give 'Love Live' a look. Thanks for making these videos!

    Great video! It’s nice to see people talk about their experiences with the franchise. I also found Love Live in high school. At the time, I was an athlete. Near the beginning of my freshman year, I found Love Live…because I found Umi hot. Yeah, I found this series through simping. However, I experienced this group work their asses off to achieve their dream. I wanted them to succeed because of that journey. I related that to my sports. This series helped me enjoy the grind and the journey, and I achieved things I thought were once impossible. I have continued to follow the series because of the characters, the music, and most importantly because it just makes me happy. It’s no where near as deep or well made as other series so sometimes I wonder why I like it so much. The answer is probably just because it just gives me such a positive feeling and honestly, that’s enough.

    • @sonic66646
      @sonic66646 Місяць тому

      It's actually as deep as other shows if not one of the deepest ones, just like songs where the music is happy but the lyrics are sad, it's not presented like that exactly I suppose
      I learned literature analysis in school and Love Live is definitely as deep as any "serious" appearing shows. And has changed my life. If I reflect on the stories, they are just true in my life. So true. In real life. And they're often presented in a joking way because that's fun but there are the scenes where it gets real, you know what I mean?

    Love Live is the best thing that ever happend to me. Attending Aqours 5th live and Love Live fest were the best days of my life. I was also extremely lucky during LL fest day 2 because I was sitting in 4th row and at the portion where they go around in carts, I got a lot of waves from various seiyuu (Anchan, Aikyan, Suwawa), but the most special one was Ucchi (seiyuu of my waifu Kotori) who directly pointed and then waved at me when she saw that I was waving at her like crazy with my white penlights. Unfortunately nobody from Nijigasaki noticed me. I was waving around with blue, but Miyutan just went past me (she was looking up). But it was amazing, I was literally like 2-3 meters away from the seiyuus and due to being 4th row I was at their eye level. It's funny how small they are in real life lol.
    To get back to he video, I really enjoyed it, but I have to disagree with 1 point though. I don't think that the Love Live lines are cheesy or that the plot is simple. The plot is really as deep as you can get with idol anime. There are some great quotes about life to be found in Love Live, especially from Honoka and Chika (and Nozomi). There's also a lot of symbolism that flies over a lot of fan's head (the feathers, birds, lyrics, adult Honoka in the movie). The main plot may be simple (idol group wants to win idol tournament), but if you count all the little details, Love Live is pretty deep compared to other idol anime. Unfortunately they changed that with Niji and Liella anime (especially Liella seems to be more kid and family friendly since it airs on NHK), but my point remains. If you go back and watch the original and Sunshine, it's filled with great quotes. Sometimes you unfortunately have to know the manga too. For example, Nico always says how idols have to make people smile, and that's because her dad died when she was young and since her mother works all day to take care of Nico and her siblings, Nico had to find a way to make her siblings always smile. Therefore she wants to be an idol which makes fans smile.
    But yeah, you're exactly right. Love Live is definitely motivating a lot of people to try something new. Once you open your heart to Love Live there's no going back!

    • @redjoker
      @redjoker Рік тому

      Bruh I'm jealous of your LL fes seat, I was busy so I had to settle for live viewing.
      Imo for the anime, Sunshine was by far my favourite because of the 'failure' theme they tackled and Chika's entire story and how she grows. I still think Muse was a bit too straight forward for me to convince people that it has a 'deep' story by any means, but I still think the striaght forward story is well done. I see it in the same light as something like Hibike Euphonium where the main story is straight forward but the characters and their motivations are what makes the show amazing. You're definitely right that some characters are not by any means one-dimensional and Love Live has some goddamn amazing quotes that still ring in my head to this day.
      Anyway, glad you enjoyed the video!

    • @mojabaka
      @mojabaka Рік тому

      @@redjoker Thanks. Yeah, I wouldn‘t call Love Live a „deep“ or „philosophical“ anime, but it has it‘s moment, even the original. There are some great quotes like Nozomi‘s „The ocean is great. When I look at it, my worries that seemed so big become small“, or „Do you know what’s the most important thing about climbing mountains is? It’s not about having the courage to challenge it, It’s about having the courage to back down.“
      Honoka has some great quotes about friendship and the importance of never giving up. I also like Kotori‘s quote when she talks about how the girls of Muse maybe get lost sometimes along the way, but that it doesn‘t matter because a wonderful future will await them if they come together and continue to work together.
      But the most important work comes from the song lyrics. Snow Halation is pretty deep and it can have multiple interpretations. Then there‘s Start Dash and Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari, and the line about birds growing up that ties those two perfectly together. There are much more songs with great lyrics of course, but these are the most obvious ones.
      My favorite Love Live anime is still the original, but yes, Aqours‘ story is great too. I like how it shows that you can sometimes fail even if you try your best. It also makes perfect sense. Muse‘s school was located in Tokyo, so for them it was easier to save their school, while Aqours school was in a small fishing village. It makes perfect sense that not a lot of people, especially kids, would be able to move to go to school there. It‘s unfortunately happening all over Japan right now, schools in rural places are closing because almost all families live in big cities now. The school which Uranohoshi is based on also closed in 2021.
      The good thing is that Numazu has at least gained new residents and tourists due to Sunshine. I was there 2 times and I enjoyed it, it‘s a really nice town. People were also really nice. It‘s a good distraction from crowded and hectic Tokyo lol.

      They hear stuff that makes them ashamed of feeling what they're feeling before they understand it. I assure you, the person who's making you feel that shame doesn't know you and doesn't understand where does that feeling come from either. They probably don't even know their own self

      I'd say love live is a decently straight forward story, think of something like demon slayer or jujutsu kaisen where you shouldn't expect anything out of the ordinary or insane plot twists but it's a fun watch. Animation is slightly rough at the start and gets really good later. Songs depend on your taste but love live has so much variety that I think you're bound to find something you like (especially outside of the anime). I think character drama is pretty good, but again I wouldn't call it the deepest or best I've seen, still really enjoyable though.
