I watched this video and decided to pick this trimmer up. You are correct,they are hitting right out the box! They are better than the 2299 to me and much more quiet. Feels great in the hand with the metal body. Well worth the $15 i paid 😁

J ust got my Kemei 993, wow, great construction. Can't believe this costs so cheap. When i do a full head self bald cut with Kemei 2293 should i cut with the tip side or with the flat side? What is the difference? better go against the grain or with the grain or both?
I freakin love mine I use them all day as my go to trimmer .. flat side against the grain 👌🏼🦾🚌💈
Hey man, thank you for the video. I bought the trimmer after I saw your video. I just have a question, how do I use the liquid that was in the box? And when should I use it?
Awesome glad it was helpful. That’s oil for the blade just use a couple drops on each sides of the blade where they rub together… helps to do it when it’s on to move the oil where it needs to be then whip excess .. you do this when you feel your blade is dry or getting hot fast usually after cleaning it really well. Helps also prevent faster wear and rusting of the blade

And do you also know if there are more trimm clippers for the kemei 2293 (1,3,4,5,6,8mm)
It’s interchangeable with babyliss and TPOB xo .. as far as guard barbers don’t use guards on our trimmers so I’m not sure if they have other sizes
Try the dk bag pro but switch blade to the precision blade that it comes with or change to style craft blade

Is the Kemei much louder than the VGR v640 trimmer? It seems like it would be loud.
Since the VGR blades are not adjustable any idea where to find replacement “stock” blades?
Yes the Kemei is louder but cuts over all better and the blade is adjustable.. as far as replacing blades I haven’t run into a problem to have to look but as soon as I find some info I will relay the message 🦾💈🚌
Is it safe and comfortable to use the 2293 for whole head self bald cut? It won't cut the skin? What is its cutting length?
It cuts nice and close and cutting skin or not is based on how zero gapped your blade is and the angle you hold it at .. but they cut excellent just don’t expect bald from any trimmer .. they are not shaver.. I’d describe it as a very close 5 o’clock shadow.. I use them when doing skin fades to take the hair down then use a shaver to get to bald I love them
Dude have you ever had a error code on your new vgr clipper came up on mine then stopped crazy my other vgr was slick carnt find eney info on error codes 😅❤
No I haven’t had any issues with mine thankfully and haven’t heard anyone else having errors codes. I’ll come back to this comment if I find any info.

I’ve always used the Andis double foil shaver .. I tried the Andis resurge I liked it at first but I feel like it gets dull faster and always would go back to the original double foil. I also use a TPOB mini skull shave but only for the hard to get spots. I’m definitely interested in finding something stronger and has foil and blades that last longer .. but I like being able to pick up replacements local if mine breaks.
I love the " mini skull by TPOB" curently using combo with Babyliss 4Artists double foil but unfortunetly not impressed at all... ;(

I thought so to but it’s the same rpm as the TPOB xo but imo cuts are better wayyy better

No. I have not seen a professional style trimmer that is water proof but that would be nice to see in the future
is it good for balding?
I think so I’ve been picking them over my cyborg trimmer
