Nah kido is far better it has hyper armour also hakuda won't be good in like gold 1 or so I try it alot of build counter like Quincy or any shikai move
Quincy can use the arrow that doing them to escape and kido have way better combo and alot harder to escape also I found many ways to counter hakuda
If they use a move there a chance you can dash out also I kinda just time their move to parry if not I use counter skill or that also means shikai skill like shadow​@@k4mik4z

As a bit of a newer player myself you gotta remind yourself to play slower. People can dash out of moves every 5 seconds, so you really want to take your time. Don't whiff and get punished try to wait until the dash is gone, then engage, if you succeed then deal some DMG, if you whiff, use your own dash and reset to neutral/ rinse repeat.

Tip: After you do a block breakable move do an m2 so u block break em and then a blockable move like spine rend.
