You hear and read so much about Pernell of course from his years on being Bonanza and Trapper John MD, and it seems here he seemed so settled with his life and it seemed that everyone seemed to enjoy his company with his family.. it's wonderful to see. Thanks for sharing this.

He didn't cry during the reading of that letter but I did...this is very special. I am finding things out about my dad's family history that he never told me, and he is gone six years now. It's important to reach out and let your family know the history. This is fantastic. Love and miss this great actor and human being.
What an absolute treasure is this small excerpt. It is a rarity to see and hear Roberts speaking about his life "off the cuff", as it were. He really was a magnificent man with no heirs at all, so very down to earth, but with a talent that was not. So many roles he played, and I am sad that I was not able to see him do other things other than a once a week stint as Adam on Bonanza

I also read the transcript that you published after his Memorial, I laughed and cried but I thank you for that too! I sadly never got to meet him but followed his career as much as I could for many years , you helped to give more insight into an AMAZING man and his life! You are sorely and much missed Pernell...Rest in Glory !
Wow, can't believe they are still having reunions, haven't been in 35 years. My Grandmother was Wilmoth "Wilma" Beatrice Roberts (Lee-Eubanks). Last time I went we got the prize for coming from the furthest away to the reunion - a hand-made quilt.
Wow what a special find. Thank you to whoever posted this. Looks like a family event. Mr Roberts had a fantastic array of acting experience which for a fan is wonderful to watch. He lived through some major social changes in his lifetime. I wonder if he ever wrote as he seemed such an intelligent man he would have written beautifully those things that he was passionate about

Hello Cherie. It was an awesome moment and Pernell was a wonderful, wonderful man. This was my first meeting with Pernell, but I had many visits with him after this. I sat and listened to him talk for hours. I surely miss him. I did not make it to the park dedication, but it's a great memorial.

Conheci esse ano 2021 por conta da pandemia e confesso que adoro todos os atores e como foi feito os episódios muito marcantes e com muitos ensinamentos. Pernell didn't have any siblings and his only child died in the 1980's so I can see why this sort of reunion was important to him
