How to Install a Nuc

A short video that shows how I installed the last nuc I ever bought in Newfoundland back in 2019. This is geared towards Newfoundland beekeepers who often can't get nucs until mid-July, which gives them less than 8 weeks to build the nuc up into a 20-frame colony. I've done it, but there's no room for error -- or for nucs that show up without a mated queen.
If the colony can't build up into two deeps before winter, it can be reduced to a single deep. People in Newfoundland do it all the time.
