So impressed by Yaakov! My son from UK was learning in Yeshiva in Monsey 2years ago and met Yaakov on a bus on the way to Lakewood and said hi and heard some of his story. At the time he told about him and his fascinating conversation. So happy to hear he got married and to hear this amazing story! Thank you for another fantastic video!

It was amazing hearing Yaakov’s full story. We had the honor of hosting him and his then- Kallah for Shabbos after Pesach. We had such an enjoyable and inspiring Shabbos!

This was an absolute awesome video; I only wish u had talked w Yaakov Cruz more about his life's story - especially on his shidduch experience and how he met his wife.
And yes, I am aware that this was one of your longer videos but he was so engaging and fascinating, his telling of his life was so very mesmerizing and such a joy to listen to. I feel I could listen to him all day as he regales upon his life experiences; he truly has been thru some wild nisyonos in his life, but his ability to tell about what he has done and seen and his search for his true identity - with every experience he has gone thru, he is always recognizing how it all comes from HaShem/the Aibeshter and he is emphatically expresses his Gratitude to whomever has ever helped him along in his Life Journey.
Gratitude is an attribute that is so important to have in one's Life as a life of recognizing Gratitude helps one realize that we are not in charge of ourselves. We do have control within ourselves even while HaShem is in Charge of the World we all live in.
A truly remarkable man w so much still to share in his life that he has already experienced but so much more ahead of him.
Blessings, love and prayers for all, from Israel 🇮🇱.

Wow! He brings out the essence of my life as well.
I've always been asked how am I religious after what I've been through. Most people go the opposite direction.
    It's Emunah and Bitschon.
I grew up religious but half my siblings aren't

Love that he is still growing and living the life that is true to who he is! A lot of geirim and BT try to fit the mold by looking like someone that they are not and in that process, they can loose the energy and charisma that brought them the inspiration to change their lives.

The story of Yaakov Cruz really had an impact on me. His reminder to always "dan L'chaf zchus" is so timely-and his gratitude and lack of bitterness is so refreshing. I listened to the podcast twice and then I just had to turn to UA-cam to watch it. Still don't quite get the "family tree"-but so what. P.S. I saw a sign on a telephone pole here in Baltimore on Park Heights that had 2 words with a red heart in-between them. BE (heart) KIND. Did you have anything to do with that? And I await a new word from MoMo next week.

      Shulchan Aruch Harav 181:1
"It is a mitzvah to wash before Grace as an expression of holiness, to sanctify oneself prior to blessing G‑d for [our] food, for hands that are soiled with the grime of food are unacceptable when reciting a blessing.
[Our Sages] added [a further measure . . . Sodomite salt which could cause blindness . . . if he would touch his eyes with his hands without washing them first, it would cause blindness."

Mayim Achronim was instituted because eye harmful sedom salt may remain on the finder tips and we don't want them to impact the eyes.
However according to the Zohar we only use a drop of water since that drop will feed necessary spiritual energy to the negative side. However when the negative side does not receive its minimal energy to exist it is not good either, it has a purpose.

The need for glasses has nothing to do with reading small print since most need glasses for seeing distance.
It’s Hashem’s (God’s) way of telling us to not focus on the gashmius (materialism).
Take off your glasses so you can’t see what your neighbor just bought, what your friend is wearing, what vehicles pass you by and not what others are doing.
Focus on what you have, thank your wife, enjoy your kids, learn your sefarim, and be wealthy by appreciating what you have.
