Good fix for a cool shoe with a horrible design. That sole should be 1 solid piece all the way across. Anyways, the only other thing I'd do here is use washers to distribute the pressure so it doesn't pull through over time.
Hey man great idea, I have the same shoes and I was going to try and use a 2 part epoxy because I figured glue wouldn't be enough. Can you tell me what size screws you used?
I made this video a time ago, so I dont remember exactly the size... But you dont need to buy an specific size, the sole of the shoe molds according to the screw. You just need to use a small size.
Mickey Allen since whenever I posted that comment, I screwed them the same day and they're solid as a rock. I don't exercise in them so I don't really stress them but yeah. Worked perfect
