- We went racing! It was a last minute scramble to get all of our ducks in a row, but boy was it fun to rub elbows with the boys! Bummed to end the day on a DNF but was able to score some points in moto one and walk away mostly unscathed! See you at Washougal!

Dude it works edition bikes were actually factory they would be $100,000. Where tf do you get the idea a common rider has any business on a real race bike.
@@nillebob2665 put them all on the same bike/stock bike the results would be pretty similar to now I would bet Jett would still be leading points - rider plays at least 70-80% in this sport

Unfortunately from a television viewership perspective, more people will tune out if it’s another Lawrence Brothers Show…Fortunately the camera crews so the battles taking place behind … I think we are all rooting for the little guys… SM and TM…
The biggest thing the production crews could do for the sport is to spotlight 3-5 privateers at each round.

Great job and the stock bike idea, forced or no, it is a great concept for getting fans, as is the vlog. I would like to hear a bit about the Mobil 1 connection, family connections, great marketing skills? Chat about the difference between the stock parts and factory without running down the OEM I am sure would prove popular as well, with fans and OEM alike. Some good vloggers not in motocross are Billy Bolt and Matt Green from hard enduro in Europe and maybe that will help with sponsor profile awareness, which in turn will help you in the long run? If I recall correctly….Shane Watts did this with KTM motorcycles in the early 2000’s. He won many national races on a bone stock bike….many times he wouldn’t even wash the bike prior to racing!

How big different is it between a stock and KYB a cit? Is it 2-3 seconds per lap?
Congrats Shane what a great ride, from listening to this video it sounds like the privateer is doing ok in payback money? I see the promoters making all kinds of money so I'm going to assume it is trickling down. (The riders are the show!) They charged a parking fee for each day this year, a fence fee charge to save my spot, crazy camping charges even if I'm in a tent and I am assuming that there will be a pit bike / golf cart charge next year...you just watch. If the riders are getting their fair share I'm all in, if not it is sad and the riders need to band together and get their piece of the pie!
